Water the seeds, then once they grow, stick them in your sides so you'll have an extra set of arms! THINK OF THE DESTRUCTIVE POWER YOU WILL HAVE!

In the warriors code
There's no surrender.
Though his body says stop
His spirit cries - never!
Deep in our soul - a quiet ember
Knows it's you against you
It’s the paradox that drives us on!
It's a battle of wills,
It's the passion that kills,
The victory is yours - alone!

In the burning heart - just about to burst.
There's a quest for answers, an unquenchable thirst.
In the darkest night - rising like a spire.
In the burning heart - the unmistakable fire.

Image

Shoot, you forgot to water it.

What do you do?

This thread never ceases to amaze me. It gets better with each page.

Water the sapling with the overstretched hose and repeat the previous step.

Forget the hose. It probably isn't connected to water. Do a rain dance instead.

... Y'know, after such a lousy weekend, this has really brightened my day.
Embraced by a gentle breeze, my heart breaks as I think of you.
All alone at the top of the hill, I watch as the seasons go by.

Wishing for courage softly, I pray.
There's no going back now, to those tender days when you held me in your arms.

According to the montage, you now have a bed, a children's picture book (or a magazine or something), a wagon, and a guitar. Put these in your inventory.

And as evidenced by the lower-right quarter of the montage, it appears you can now go outside. Assuming this was the ultimate goal of the game, you've now beaten it. If it wasn't, well, at least you now have a bed, a children's picture book/magazine, a wagon, and a guitar.

You also appear to know the lyrics to "In the Burning Heart", for whatever that's worth.

You're not sure why you're assuming the hose doesn't work, but this was the best idea you could come up with. You channel all your devotion into some fancy footwork, determined to set loose the floodgates of heaven upon your precious gardening project. Looks like that semester in Ritualistic Dancing wasn't wasted after all.

It's just a jump to the left.

And then a step to the riii-

Image

In your fervor of religious concentration you trip over the still-there trapdoor, cushioning yourself against the cardboard-cutout of a vase. The resulting friction between the flimsy processed cardboard and the comfortably nondescript floor sparks a flame.

Image

This isn't exactly what you were going for. You should probably put it out before you've got the towering inferno fueled entirely by dry surplus cardboard.

What do you-

Image

FSSSHHHH.

Oh.

EDIT: GAH, SPRINKLER, NOT HOLE. Mith wins. [/SIZE]

Leap up in excitement and watch the sapling grow into a mysterious arm plant that will hopefully aid you in your escape.

Add the fire sprinkler to inventory. And the pipping.

No! Grind up the ashes from the cardboard, which would make an EXCELLENT fertilizer. Maybe the plant will grow super fast!

Try to shake off the feeling that I've unwittingly sewed the seeds of my own destruction.

BTW: This is most excellent! I'm deriving serious enjoyment from this thread.

Since we have a fire now, before it goes out we should drop the cardboard down to the floor below, travel to the locked door, hope it burns down =) (Although in a worst case scenario the building lights on fire and ... uh oh).

The sprinkler shuts off having saved the day, leaving bedded ash in place of the once fondly regarded cheap cardboard stand-up pottery. You decide to scoop up the ash, maybe to use for good fertilizer on your burgeoning envelope garden. Even in death, the vase is useful. You hold back tears for its touching sacrifice.

You brush the ash onto the card you were saving. This seems as good a time to use it at any.

Image

Oh!

It appears your efforts were unneeded. The plant has already grown to tremendous proportions. And what's this, the bud has already begun to unfurl! Guess that, "Blooms once every 100 years," stuff scrawled on the packaging was advertising malpractice. That should save you some time.

It is truly a sight to behold. You eagerly await your new arms.

Arm seeds. Arm plant. Arms.

Ah ha.

Ha.
