I actually haven't heard much from "Elegant....and Dying". I would say that "Sombre Romantic" is significantly different from their other cds, though. It is much faster paced and more varied in sound than any of their other music (at least from what I have heard). If you don't care for "Elegant..." then it is worth at least trying "Sombre Romantic".

Unfortunately, I don't care very much for Saviour Machine. I like the premise of their lyrics, but his dramatic vocals get a little old after a while. Also, from the few songs that I have heard, the music is pretty bland with the focus of the song being almost entirely on the vocals. Have I just heard a bad selection of songs, or is that pretty much how all of their music is?

the dramatic vocals do get annoying dont they? thats the problem with most power metal bands monotone vocals. at least bands like divine fire and reinxeed mix it up!

I'll check out Sombre Romantic. But like you were saying about Saviour Machine I got that same feeling from what I've heard of Virgin Black. Anyway I'd see if you could stream Legend Part II and see what you think about Saviour Machine after a listen of that CD.

mewithoutYou - It's All Crazy! It's All False! It's All a Dream! It's Alright. on vinyl.

Since they sold out of the journal before I had a chance to buy it, I will probably just wait to get the CD in the store unless they replenish their stock of journals.

トラボルタ「トラボティック・チューン」(Toraboruta - "Torabotic Tune")

It's an album by the VOCALOID artist who did my favourite VOCALOID song, ココロ. Torabotic Tune contains that song and other songs (Shounen Ginga, Pink Spider, Torabotic World) and it's pretty cheap. The artist, Toraboruta, uses Kagamine Rin and Len a lot, but he does have a Hatsune Miku song or two. His latest video on Nico Nico Douga is that Megurine Luka one with her wearing that cat cap.

Goth-Trad - Mad Raver's Dance Floor

Ouch, I almost paid as much for shipping ordering this from Japan as I did for the CD, but for a Dubstep musician of this caliber, it was definitely worth it.

I finally remembered! Truthfully, the last C.D. I bought was a Pavlo C.D. He's an amazing guitarist, you should check him out. And if you like his style of music (Mediterranean) you should definitely check him out!

Finally got me a copy of 'Everybody Loves You' by Kaki King.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He cause His face to shine upon you.
May He lift up His countenance and grant you peace.

Maokun: Ninjas or Pirates? (Vikings are not a valid answer, sorry)

EricTheFred: Vikings are always a valid answer.

Largo: "Well Ed, good to see ya. Guess I gotta beat the crap out of you now."

Jamie Hyneman: "It's just another lovely day at the bomb range. Birds are singing, rabbits are hopping about, and soon there's going to be a big explosion."

I would vote instead for Bela Fleck's 'Flight of the Cosmic Hippo'. If you don't have it, you must find a copy ASAP.

But Perpetual Motion is good too.

Mm yes, Gambling with the Devil is my favorite Helloween album I think. I'm really loving Better than Raw though. I never hear much talk about that one but I'd say it's up there with my favorites of theirs as well... Hey Lord!, Time, I Can, Revelation, and Midnight Sun are awesome songs. A little Gambling with the Devil style I guess but not as heavy.

Anyway, picked up Follow the Blind by Blind Guardian. I now have every BG album aside from the very first :D
