Just turned the ripe old age of 17 almost a week ago, so you’d all be wary of my sageyness. And my ability to create new words out of thin air.

What else?

I'm a gamer girl. Anime lover. Bit of a movie nerd. Aspiring artist and writer.

And… yeah… I believe this is the point when you all greet me and all that jazz.

Welcome! :lick:

I'm an artist too! What kind of art do you do? I sculpt and draw... see my online gallery if you like. :)

Have fun!

I've been known for my ability to create new words as well. I once invented a word to rhyme with orange. I called it scornge. It is a verb that means to stroke one's beard in contemplative thought.

Howdy! Now when you say "gamer girl" is that like Animal Crossing and the Sims, or like RPGs, or just any type of game? I guess what I'm trying to say is "What type of games do you like to play?"

Bows

Good to meet you. I'm new here too. I don't have the ability to create any words...but I can make stupid poems that make little sense of the Lewis Carrol variety.

Hope you enjoy it here!

*waves* Hello!

I'm more of a writer than an artist myself. I like to draw, but it never turns out the way I want it to. Much easier to describe a picture in words, I think.

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

^^;; Thanks everybody for the warm welcome! I'll be sure to keep the havoc reeking around here to a minimum...

And now for the questions...

Eirewolf: I do a lot of throwing on the pottery wheel at school, but my favorite paper related mediums are acrylic paints and oil pastels.... Eep! And I love your Pilgrimage piece! It looks exactly like Ms. Tyler!

Rashiir&cbwing0: Mostly RPGs like Final Fantasy (FFX is my favorite so far). I have a soft spot though for shooter games like Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and battle ones like Smash Brothers. I just graduated a little over a year ago from N64 to a PS2, and love it.

TwlightkissC3: Vision of Escaflowne, hands down.

Hi and welcome, Lehn! ^_^ I write some; but, a very lousy artist - well, according to others. Be sure and place some stuff in the Art and Writing section.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Pleasure.
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.
