I need some advice for how to deal with a situation that has arisen with a friend of mine from high school. It's actually kind of strange... had a dream last night that I looked at his livejournal and I checked it today and he has a written a post stating his plans to kill himself. I completely intend to confront him about this but should I go ahead and inform his mother now or wait till I've spoken to him? Should I contact anyone else? Perhaps a pastor or maybe a counselor?
I've known for a while that he struggles with depression and I know he's on meds for it, he also talks quite often about death and things like that, but he's a bit of a drama queen and I had not felt I had a reason to worry until now. I'd greatly appreciate prayer and advice.
