Shakugan no Shana

Postby yukoxholic » Sat Sep 20, 2008 1:33 pm

I was wondering if anyone here has scene the anime: Shakugan no Shana or SHANA. I've been interested in this title since its debut a few years ago but didn't want to invest my money in disc after disc after disc,...well, you guys get the picture. ;) Anyway, I was wondering what exactly content wise is in it? Since it now has a complete box set up for purchasing. Is there any fanservice, nudity, sexual circumstances, etc. If yes, then how much? I would greatly appreciate whomever can help fill in the blanks to these much needed details I'm wishing to be answered!

Thanks in advance! :thumb:

Also, I do know there is a second season but I just wish to know about the first. ^__^

I don't recall there being in nudity in the first DVD, but there was some fanservice. It's a bit of a blur to me. I try not to expend too much energy or memory remembering the garbage I see from day to day. Why would I spend time remembering the wrapper I see on theground when I could be looking at the beautiful building behind it?

There's a lot better and this one didn't even try very hard.

Of course, I may have missed something only watching the first DVD. Maybe it's decent or even pretty good.

It's got an fair amount of fanservice, but nothing too far from standard for the genre. As to quality, termyt, the show has one of the best ratings averages in recent years -- if it's not your kind of show, then sure, watch something else. I'm really not a fan of the genre, but I enjoyed Shana FAR more than I expected.
Embraced by a gentle breeze, my heart breaks as I think of you.
All alone at the top of the hill, I watch as the seasons go by.

Well, the sad thing is I am a fan of the genre. Ratings aren't everything (or Eva is at the same time the best thing ever and the worst thing ever.) Oh well, to each his own tastes, I suppose.

Ok, it's standardized but what kind? I really dislike groping and fifty panty shots.
