So, anyone wanna get to know Spirit_Wolf?

Postby Spirit_Wolf8356 » Mon Mar 01, 2004 4:04 pm

Ya know, I kinda figured I might as well do one of these lil thingers. I'm kinda bored right now, so yah. *shrugs* I'm not very good at talking about myself, but I'll try. If you wanna know anything about me that I didn't put down, just ask and I'll answer. :brow:

My real name is Heather. I'm named after a book character and foliage and Scotland. I'm 16. I'm a junior in high school. It's a private high school and not really as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I'm a rabid anime fan and LOTR fan. I totally obsess over Legolas or anything about Orlando Bloom. I go to two churches and both are awesome.

My favorite anime is Sailor Moon. It's the first one that I ever got into and so it will always stay dear to my heart.

I love to read fantasy stuff. Especially anything by Tamora Peirce. Her stuff is mucho awesome.

Some of my favorite words: Irk. Odd. Spoofy. Whee.

I'm a carefree person when it comes to most stuff. When it comes to my future, I'm pretty serious though.

I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up/finish growing up. And a writer. I've always loved writing. I'm not very good though. I usually just do fanfiction. If your interested, my stuff is on Fanfiction.net under the name Tenshi no Yami.

I've pretty basically ran out of things to say and my sis is about to come steal the computer. (Oh, there's another thing. A little sister who doesn't really like me all that much.) Any questions?

What kind of veterinarian? My father is a small-animal vet.

Most likely equine. I might go into small animal, but I'd really love to do equine.

*waves* *waves* Question! Who says "Irk"?!
"Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
and things are not what they seem.
Life is real! Life is earnest!
And the grave is not its goal;
Dust thou art; to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul."

Raven, I say irk. That makes it a nationally awesome cool word. ^_^

Right now, Cbwing, I'm playing .hack/infection, so I'm really into that, but I love the Zelda games too. I'm really bad at games though, but I love to play them, so it takes me forever to make it to the end of a game.

Do you ride horses? I used to want to be an equine vet too, but I have a hard time seeing them hurt, so... bad idea for me.

I'd loveto ride, Eire, but sadly, no luck. I don't like seeing them hurt either, but at least I could do something to help them then.

What's your favorite book of hers Kokoro?

Hi. I'll try to be of some help to you all ya gotto do is pm me or locate me in this maze of threads. My grandfather has a riding stable and a couple of years ago I was riding a new horse that happened to be a pure bread racing horse. I let loose the reins on accident and she took off. I held onto her mane, lost both my shoes (they could easily slide on and off and were later found that day) I then decided to jump off. Into the air I went and right away ralled onto the ground, my pants almost completely ripped to peices. I didn't cry at all even though I had three large lumps on my head. When I got back to my grandparents house , my little sister was in tears. She thought I might have died. If I hadn't rolled I might have. I was surprized to find out she actually cares. Sisters aren't so bad, they can be good when they want to be. Not all horses will act that way. I'm telling you this becouse you never know whats going to happen.:)

I attend Church of the Open Door and Westminster Church of God. The latter I only go to on Sunday nights for youth group. I go to COD on Sun. morning and Wed nights, when I don't have to work.

That sounds like a very not fun experience, laka. There's nowhere to ride around my house that I now of. It bites, because I would if I could. I would pay for it myself, too, because I have the afore mentioned job.

Well, you cant always help them. I have a friend who always wanted to be a vet, she went to school and finaly got a great job at a clinic in town. But what she wasnt ready for was putting animals down. She loves animals so much, that every time she had to put down an old dog, or an animal whos owners couldnt pay for them to have surgury, it broke her heart.

She lasted about 6 months, before she couldnt take it anymore.

Oh, and how have things been?
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Things have been going pretty good, actually. How have they been going for you?

I don't think I'll like having to do that much either, but I'd rather have the chance of helping them then just leaving them to die anyway. You have to find a way to balance it and that's my balance. Knowing that for every one I put down, there's one that I save as well. *shrugs* My theory on it, anway.

I'm glad I finally read this, Spirit_Wolf. You sound like you've got your head in the right place. And, one day you and your sister will actually get along, I bet. ~-^ I hope you the best in your veterinary quest. ^_^

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

*blush and big dopey grin* Thanks for all the encouragement and well wishing, guys. I really appreciate it. There's a situation going on that makes me think my dreams might be put on hold for awhile, unless I can get my parents talked out of it. I'm going to go post about it in the prayer room if you're interested in finding out what that situation is.

Ice cream? No fair! They don't let me eat while I'm working. Well, I got to chew on a toothpick, but it's not the same. (I like toothpicks. )
