Techno Suggestions

Postby MangArtist » Tue Aug 05, 2008 9:39 am

I've been looking for some techno that's happy, catchy, and, preferably, with no lyrics, but I can barely find anything.
I'm looking for stuff kinda like this,
Welcome To Rainbow
Any suggestions?

Well basshunter has alot of other great songs too like dr. feel good, dota, I can walk on water I can fly, and so near so far.

some other suggestions are-

ATC-

especially the song "all around the world"

Bloc party-

my favourite song is "flux"

Cascada-

"Every time we touch" and "miracle" are great!

Dj tiesto-

"Insomnia", "Dreaming", and "lord of trance"

Eiffel 65-

Listen to their new stuff not "blue" XD

here are some youtube links to their new stuff-

Voglia di dance all night-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQyA6GyTOZQ

King of lullaby-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWJiMYz3SDM

Frou Frou has a slightly electronic sound. I reccomend "must be dreaming" and "let go"

Groove coverage-

"moonlight shadow" and "million tears"

Hellogoodbye has an awesome song called "Here in your arms"

Milk Inc-

"oceans apart" and "living a lie"

OH and you have probably heard it in the pepsie commercials but "streamline" by Newton is great!

The Postal Service also isn't necessarily a techno band but they have an electronic sound and "the distric sleeps alone tonight" and "such great heights" are great songs!

Oh and you might like ShinyToyGuns the songs I reccomend are "Starts with one" and "rainy monday"

OH and I can't forget Susumu hirasawa... Just look him up because he is a musical GENIUS!

I will end with Young love. Also not a techno band but they do electronic rock and they are really good. I reccomend the songs "discotech" and "new way to dance"

I LOVE TECHNO <333

I know of lots of trance/techno beats, but they have seem to be evading me atm ^ ^;

I think DJ Taka has alot of techno with no vocals ^ ^

I'm the opposite, though. I love vocals with my techno <33

WHOAH I totally missed the fact you didn't want lyrics XD

well some songs without lyrics are

well Newton "streamline" doesn't have lyrics (one of my previous suggestions)

also Basshunter's song "I will touch the sky" doesn't have lyrics.

and DJ tiesto's songs have less vocals!

OH and look up Andy hunter. Some of his songs have minimal amounts of lyrics and hes really good!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I'll check 'em out!

The reason I stay away from them is because most of the songs I found had really raunchy lyrics. Which really stunk cause some of them were really catchy. If they don't have stupid lyrics then I don't mind them.

Again thanks guys!

Hey you might want to check out Paul Oakenfield as well. And Cloud2Ground, Ultrabeat, Paradigm Shift, Virus, Andy Hunter, Cathedral of Sound to name a few.

Did I miss it, or has Daft Punk seriously not been mentioned yet? Daft Punk is catchier than an octopus behind home plate! It makes me happy when I listen to it, and it has hardly any lyrics, with most of them being used more rhythmically than poetically. I suggest "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger", "Technologic", "Around the World" (in fact, get the Around The World/Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger mix from the Alive 2007 tour), "Aerodynamic", "Voyager", "Short Circuit", "Da Funk", "Robot Rock", and "Human After All". Loads of fun.
