Yep, I FINALLY finished Death Note

Well, I just finished Death Note… and wow… how can you put anything into words after you’ve watched such an amazing series? I don’t say this lightly either… I’ve watched a LOT of anime throughout the years (my favorite up to this point being Escaflowne). But I have to say I don't think any anime in recent memory has ever had the impact that Death Note has had. The story telling is simply brilliant. I think what makes Death Note so special compared to a lot of other anime titles isn't even its original concept (which is spectacular I might add) but rather more so just how intricate the story itself is. Death Note is a story that has layer upon layer, upon layer and even when you think you've thought ahead of the story they manage to swerve things into a new direction.

So now, it looks like I have to look for something knew to watch. Perhaps I'll check out Azumanga Daioh in the near future.
