btw, does anyone know if Jigglypuff is a girl or guy? lol

I think awhile back a Nintendo magazine named Jigglypuff as a 'He' but what do they know?

It's the gender of jigglypuff is controversial, but it is pink and it sings as it's main move. And the jigglypuff wiki says 25% Male, 75% Female.

jigglypuff is far from being a useless character. if you can figure out how to use his/her(?) down B (rest) correctly. and he/she(?) has pretty solid aerials also.

Hmm I'll have to try Jigglypuff out. I haven't used that character yet. Maybe it's one of those characters that are deceiving. Ya know, they look all innocent and weak but they can give ya one heck of a bum whooping. =P

Here is a fun character, Solid Snake. Now if find one on one he is not all that great. However, the more players are on the field the more useful he becomes. Mostly because of his ability to lay mines. Ranged he is decent as well.

It really all comes down to play style.

For me personally the most useless character is: Snake. I just ... can't use him worth beans. Wario comes in a close second, but that's usually cause I'm trying to remember how to make him save up his farts.

When I worked for a Pokémon tournament I was told that most Pokémon do not have an explicit gender, so that people can form whatever ideas about them they want. So, Jigglypuff isn't technically male or female, nor is it not male or female. More like, potentially male and potentially female. A quantum hermaphrodite!

This was only true until Gold and Silver came out. XD When Gold and Silver came out, Pokemon had genders to allow for breeding. The only Pokemon that do not have genders are Legendaries (except Latios and Latias), and Pokemon that are "inanimate" objects like Voltorb, Magnemite, Porygon, Ditto, etc.

ha ha. yeah. brawl really screwed up a lot of the old characters. especially zelda and shiek. they performed like a 180 degree turn from melee to brawl. zelda stole all of shiek's invincibility! XD

for SSBM, i find pichu to be a rather useless character.

To all the haters, I can absolutely destroy with the 'Puff. Its all about aerial game, don't even bother fighting on the ground. Always short hop and mix up her aerial A moves instead of just fighting like you would with any other character.

Rest is also very hard to aim this time around, and it really isn't worth it. A good trick though is to get on an edge, drop off, quickly do a midair jump, Sing, and if your opponent gets caught in it, they fall asleep, but you'll stop yourself from Singing by grabbing the edge. Then you can get up and nail em' with a full charged Smash or Rest.

Many other tricks, but the main one is mindgames. That is to say, nobody knows how to fight the enemy they've never fought, and that stays true for video games. I'm good to play any of you. In case your wondering, my mains are Snake, Jiggly, Sonic, Marth, and I'm working on my Ness.

It's kind of hard for me to say since there's always someone out there who can use a character that is considered useless.

Snake is an ABSOLUTE favorite of mine during 3-4 player matches. Most people don't know how to fight against him as well, which often gives me the upper hand. =) And yeah, Aerial Jigglypuff is a force to reckon with. XD

Most people say Snake is overpowered, but I don't think he is though, if you know some of his combos or AT's you can make snake be a killer. He is considered top tier yes, with MK. Everyone loves MK spamming all his moves but he has great combos as well.

ha ha! indeed! olimar is one of my favorite characters to use in Brawl. but i'm not much of a Brawl fan (i don't even have the game). i stick more to Melee. Marth, Shiek, and Peach!

Yea, many aren't to happy with Brawl(compared to melee), but I love all the stages and characters. The game play isn't all that bad either.
But when playing as Ike, it's hard to have a good metagame with Olimar.
His grab fthrow and then Up b combo, kills me every time.

Specially when they can keep catching you as well.

In terms of the original, I would have to say, Captain Falcon (I've seen traffic move faster than his Falcon Punch).
I never played Melee...
But for Brawl, I'm gonna have to say King Dedede because, well...his name speaks for himself.

A good DEDEDE with AT is awesome though, specially in bugged places like walls, and his forward throw grabs.

I'm a freelancer, so I virtually use like, every character. Including Snake, Jigglypuff, and Peach. PEACH KILLZ. Basically, none of them are useless.

Except for the clone characters. Man, they really put the words on useless. I disliked them so much in Melee that I kept on saying the word "Sucks" whenever the crowd said the clone character's name.

I don't dislike them as much in Brawl, though. They got some distinguishing characteristics to seperate them from the others. Ganondorf got a fancy new Spartan Kick and Falco has that spinny sissy slap attack thing.

Really, though, I dislike clone characters, but when someone's being cheap with a certain character that has the ability to be cheap...

There are no useless characters. I thought Yoshi was useless until I learned how to use him.

There are, however, useless people who try to proscribe the use of certain levels and characters. Apparently somebody didn't tell these wet blankets that Smash Brothers is not Street Fighter.
