Bleach: Memories of Nobody to debut in theaters

Postby rocklobster » Wed Jun 04, 2008 5:20 am

OK, here's the good news: Bleach: Memories of Nobody may be coming to a theatre near you!
Now for the bad news: It's only going to be on June 11 and June 12. That's it! Two nights only!

They had plan to do the two night set up from the start, since Viz always does it this way.

Really, I think most fans have already seen the movie. I know it was showed at a few of the major cons last year and they had a big turn out for it.

So, I don't see that many people seeing it on the big screen, since most fans have already saw it.

Then again, things could change.

The first Death Note movie had over 65,000 people saw in in the two day run in May.

^_^ I'm going with some friends - already have tickets reserved. Don't think it'll have as big a turnout as DN though... when we bought tickets for that, we had to go a theater about half an hour away because the one that's about five or ten minutes from my house was sold out a month in advance. So crazy. XD Whereas with Bleach, the last person in our group bought his tickets only a week or two ago and had no problems.

It would be nice if they would show it on more screens, but then i'd still have to wait till it came out on dvd

Wow, it is showing not far from here! I'm gonna go see it for sure! I've already seen the movie, but I want to go see it on the big screen... just because. I love Bleach :)

Geez, why do they do this. Like the closest theatre that shows the movie from me is about 4 hours away. I like anime and all, but there is a limit! And I haven't even considered how gas I would need, so no dice.

I snuck into the Death Note movie with my brother.

Hey, at least we bought tickets!
