She's amazing.

Ooh, that's a good album. XD

I was actually watching her video of Us the other day, since I'd never seen it before. It's basically an incredible video. Go watch it. XD

I love everything about her approach to music. Many artists take themselves way too seriously; and even funnier is the fact they expect that same reaction from listeners. You have to love a genre that is built on subverting and satirizing the self-important attitude of other music styles. I found her music refreshing and a welcome relief from the insipid noises aggressively mass advertised as music.
I love the style of her videos. The paper work in Samson is one of may favorite effects, and I want that suit from the Us video.

Everyone should love Regina Spektor!

*prepares to get lynched*

Having now listened to a couple of her songs, my official opinion is now "Meh."

I've heard better. She's not bad, but I wouldn't listen to her if I didn't have to.

Apparently she recorded a song for the new Prince Caspian movie.

She's a secular artist though, right?

Yes and yes. Her actual work is much better than what she recorded for the movie, though.

Oh, okay. I haven't heard her actual work, so I wasn't sure........ Unless you consider hearing the first 3 seconds of one other song hearing her actual work. Haha.

I loved the song for prince caspian. It really made the ending... listened to some of her other stuff but it sounds really badly produced but I still like it.

Yeah, if all you've heard is the stuff off of Begin to Hope, then you need to get Soviet Kitsch, too. :D It has some of her best material, in my opinion.

My sister adores her; my opinion is less high, but not negative. I think she's pretty good, and she sounds different from just about anyone else on the radio. But I think Ingrid Michaelson has her beat.

At least she's not as horrible as that Colby Calais *blech*
