Yes, I recently got my kick back for LOTR
And I am in the need to RP LOTR.

I made a forum bu no one has really joined it (if you want to join PLEASE LET ME KNOW)

But I know there are some LOTR fans on here, and i would love to RP with you guys.

Let me know if you want to RP LOTR.

I kinda got a plot in mind.

Not sure. I'm really waiting for a plot to come into my head.

Heres one I am using on my site.
It has been mere months since the powerful weapon, the One Ring was destroyed. And for a time all was right with Middle Earth. The darkness subsided and King Aragorn prospered. But all was not well in the dark hatches that still existed. The rumors spread quickly about another ring, one perhaps even more powerful, being forged. It wasn't until sometime later that the rumors proved to be true. The ring bore resemblance to it's golden cousin, but it's origins were unknown. The ring went through many owners, all being destroyed by the great power it carried. Eventually, the ring began to warp history. Wars became undone and slain allies and enemies rose from the dead.
The word reached the Fellowship and their companions. There was yet another war and their hands, and a mystery to unravel. Will the new ring of power be destroyed? Will it's history be unveiled? And who will win in yet another battle between good and evil?

but if anyone has ideas, I'd love to hear them. ^-^

Maybe if they were assigned like Gandalf or just decided to help in such a time,but hey! It's an RP!Having Legolas back in Middle Earth would Rock!

Yep, there are definitely some characters we need to drag back from Valinor. Gandalf... Galadriel... Um, all of those other people. Frodo? ... I don't think anyone's playing him... ^^; Oh, it's been so long since I've read the book, but from what I can remember, I don't think Legolas went to Valinor. Didn't he go somewhere with Gimli? To explore the forest or something? Or did Legolas (and Gimli?) go to Valinor in some other book?

Throwing a plot idea out here in the open. Fine if you like it, fine if you don't.
How about if the RP was about our characters going to Valinor? It would be like The Voyage of the Dawn Treader... sail beyond the sea. Make up our own islands, monsters, people, etc. And we could call back some of those characters; they could be the "guides"...

Like I said, just an idea.

I don't remember were,but you're right in that Legolas,and Gimli stayed in Middle Earth for a few years before parting together to Valinor.Remember that Gimli was the Lord of the caves in Rohan which he really liked after the War.

That sounds like a good idea...
But what enemies can we come up with--and a boss (if we have one)? Maybe another witch-king like the one in Angmar? A Sauron-sympathizer? Maybe that one Melkor/Morgoth guy (the forerunner of Sauron and fallen member of the Valar) can conjure up a new bad-guy or something. Well, that's if he isn't dead or anything (I never read the other books, only LotR and the Lost Tales).

There probably still was a remainder of orcs and other of Sauron's lackies left that they hadn't completely killed....They had probably followed Saruman when he went to the Shire....or just came on their own in escape.

Mm, probably. Sauron-sympathizers, Melkor/Morgoth, or we can even make a whole new character with a whole new background. Whatever goes. We can let our imaginations run wild; after all, this is an RPG, right?

On the orc thing - that would be... say, before the rest of the Fellowship left for Valinor, wouldn't it?
