I think it definitely has potential! :D I remember seeing some really early test model, or maybe it was just a fan-made thing but it had the guitar handle like from the normal controller sticking out the side of the DS, but I think that this looks a lot more comfortable and usable. I'm sure it won't have the same feel or level of fun as the original, but for a portable version of it it looks like it will do the job pretty nicely.
I want it :o

Eh...maybe it will work...but I'm not so sure about how they've set up the device...it just kind of looks like it will be really easy to make some costly mistakes though maybe not...

I'm sure It'll be fun,but I always thought that a cool idea would be to have a real guitar, with lights underneath the strings in the fretboard to guide you in your playing.(A guitar like that already exists)Anyway I still enjoy guitar hero, and it's a pretty cool game let's see how it plays out in the DS. The DS guitar game that I really think is truly original, and helps your creativity is Jam Sessions.

Um...wow. Creative idea, but the gameplay sounds awkward to me. Well, mostly just the strumming part. It won't feel at all like a guitar.

Rhythm/music games on the DS? Groovy. Guitar Hero on the DS? Not groovy.

Here's why: The Guitar Hero games are founded on the appeal of pretending to be able to play rock songs on a guitar. This is why we spend money on the niche controllers shaped like guitars that have no practical use otherwise. Due to its small size, the DS will never be able to recreate that experience. Therefore, the DS is a ridiculous platform for a Guitar Hero game.

Activision, you lose. Good day, sir. I recommend taking all that money you're spending on this nonsense and giving it to Nintendo to fund bringing us another Elite Beat Agents game. Preferably one with some good music, kthx.
