Super Smash Brothers Brawl

Have a video game or or VG review? This is the place to to discuss it! We also accept discussions of board games and the like, but SHHH! Don't tell anyone, OK?

I went to youtube and found videos of the Brawl music. Interesting choices for the Sonic music. I'm just glad they have Open Your Heart on Brawl, since it was the only, y'know, good Sonic intro music. Also, they chose Sonic Boom over Toot Toot Sonic Warrior. BOO. Not that Sonic Boom is a bad song, it's actually pretty rad. But I prefer the latter.

The music though, is freaking nuts. Tetris? Golden Sun? Dude, even Super Mario Land gets some Brawl love (and it's about time too).

It has been confirmed that there will be no more additional characters, dowloadable or otherwise. Also, voicechat will not be a feature.

My younger bros has been pestering me to buy them a Wii and this game

But I'm kinda having second thoughts.. of getting a PS3 instead because of Rockband o.o

Plus they need to get their marks up first :P

I'm a big fan of Super smash bros too. I have the original 64 game and Melee

Anyone hear about the accidental Brawl sales at Sears? For a short time, some people were able to buy Brawl on...Friday, I think. The game was quickly yanked from the selves, but some videos have made it to YouTube.

I wonder how Nintendo's handling this...

Meh, sounds like a hoax to me. Probably just a review copy some guy decided to photograph.

Receipts or it didn't happen.

I WANT THIS GAME SO MUCH, but T_T. My math grade is bad because of one test, ONE TEST, that everyone did bad on. That was about 4 weaks ago, My teacher doesn't take up homework so my grade can be bad for some time. And worst of all, by the time I do bring it up, IT WILL BE SOLD OUT T_T.

Good way to do it. All that matters now is shipping speed chosen.

My brother and I pre-ordered our copy from a local GameStop. He wants me to pay for my half (since he paid for half the game already) on Sunday, but I really don't like shopping on Sunday. So we're either getting it on Monday, or he's carrying out his threat of walking there on Sunday and just paying for the rest himself. Oh well, we'll see what happens. I don't really want to wait either, but I want to do what I believe is right (which means to me: no shopping on Sunday, because it's a day of rest...only necessary work allowed).

Oh, and Kung_Fu_Master? Thankfully, games are easier to make than systems, so if the stores sell out, they can replenish their stock quicker. I'm sure you'll get a copy.

Honestly, those moveset-swapping videos get prett disturbing...like in terms of Peach and Sonic. THOSE are the most disturbing. *shivers*

Got mine at midnight release. It pwns. Online is a little sketchy... a little laggy, but nothing horrible.

It's been a while since we had a CAA tournament... If I set one up, would anyone be willing to play?

Sure. I'm certainly not the world's best Smash player, but that sounds fun.

Stage builder FTW. I built a stage with lots of ice and spikes and enjoyed trying not to skewer myself.

This game is fantastic. I'm not sure if I like it more than Melee at this point, but time will tell. I certainly think that the heavy characters have been improved significantly. THat is a definite plus.

Fantastic game. Went and got it at around 10:00 this morning with almost no line, and the game is absolutely fantastic.

I'm good to play you guys whenever your ready, though I've gotta' warn you about the current Wi-Fi lag. It'll be fixed in a couple days, but its still functional to an extent. My Friend Code is 3007-7754-6596.

My gosh... SSE is incredible. I'm about 65% through it... I chose to stop since... well...

Something new and unexpected might as well wait for a new day.

Edit: OH, and before you guys get too far in the game... Go to the "Brawl Anyone" screen and make sure that all the menus are there
There's a major glitch where sometimes some of the options don't appear in the online modes. The only fix is to wipe your SSBB save files clean and start all over. You'd probably want to get that out of the way before you start unlocking a ton of stuff!
