New literature book on anime!

Looks like being an otaku has now gotten college prof's interested. Check this out:

Mildly interesting, at least. I wonder how academic the book will be, however. From looking at Mechademia's website I like the concept but I can't judge it without actually reading one an issue.

XD, I figured something like this would eventually have to come up.

Next thing you know, anime and manga studies will become a major~:lol:

Though I do wish they'd focus on other series besides the ones mentioned, but a book can only contain so much information.
