I am like one of two people in my year that owns a DS/doesn't hate its guts over the PSP and the other guy is too ashamed to bring his in.

Dual Strike is so engrossing. The missions get so hard though I just can't put it down.

Anywho, does anyone know whether the time travel thing is coming back again? You know, with it begin the Phantom Hourglass and all...

I apologize for the grave dig, but I'm just shocked that nobody has posted here in so long. The game came out!

Did anyone else get it yet?

I bought it a few days ago and I've already finished (it's not really very long) but gosh, I love it! It's one of my favorite Zeldas so far, which is even more impressive since it's a handheld game. I like it even more than Twilight Princess.

So who else has played it? Any thoughts?

I love Linebeck. XD He's a riot.

Yeah, I had this game on preorder for about a year and I finally got it on October 2. I haven't played much, but I think its good. I did like the Wind Waker alot so this should be fun. Remember this is the sequel to the Wind Waker. That was a different Zelda game, where instead of being on mostly land, it was on a gigantic ocean and you traveled from Island to Island. That game is basically what got me into liking Zelda games. So if PH is anything like WW(Which I know it is) then I should have a time with it.

Zelda is only like $35. I say get it. But I don't know your income so if you don't get alot of "extra" money then get Brawl. I personally would love to get Brawl but I don't have a Wii or the extra cash to get one right now.

My brother won a DS from McDonalds a couple weeks ago (I think it was McDonalds) and this was like the first game he picked up for it. I just started playing it the other day and wow, I love it!! Wind Waker sits currently as my all time favorite Zelda game (well, it actually ties with LoZ:LttP) so I'm really loving this. Also, I've always been more of a puzzles person than a fighter (one of the reasons I prefer Ocarina of Time Master Quest over the original) and I'm totally lovin the puzzles on this. Seems to be a lot more puzzle solving than actual battles which I'm not to disappointed with lol.

And of course, the graphics get an A+ (I'm in the minority but I LOVED Wind Waker graphics and yes I prefer it over Twilight Princess. The whole cartoon look gives the games a whole new feel IMO and makes the games a bit more enjoyable IMO.)

I got it, and like Twilight Princess, I found it a bit disappointing. The plot was pretty good, but the controls were mediocre, the game was far to easy, and the game was overly predictable.

Without a doubt, my least favorite Zelda game. Not a bad game at all, but not a great one.

I'll agree with you that the game was too easy (an uncomfortable trend as of late) but I don't think that the predictability was a bad thing. Virtually every Zelda game has a very similar story, and of course it's preditable, but that's why we enjoy it. Also, I don't see how the controls didn't grow on you; they were a little annoying in some ways, yes, but ultimately much more precise and interactive. I guess it's a matter of opinion though, which you're perfectly entitled to. Also keep in mind that it's a fully rendered and massive 3D game crammed into a little DS cart... that in itself is quite impressive.

I just finished this awhile go. Overall, I enjoyed it, but it wasn't my favorite Zelda game. I got used to the controls after a point, but I still wasn't terribly fond of controlling the entire game with the stylus(although writing down notes on the map, and drawing the paths of the boomerang/bombchus was pretty neat.) Also, having to repeat floors in that one dungeon was slightly irritating.

But, otherwise, it was a decent game.

I don't have it yet, although I probably will come Christmas.

Nintendo is doing an offer on their website right now, where if you register your Phantom Hourglass game, you'll get a nifty feather-pin stylus.

Yeah, I did that offer. It is pretty darn neat. :D Just a cheap piece of plastic, but it's still neat! I actually find it more comfy than the regular stylus.
