May I ask what is good about Safari? My impression from using it semi-briefly was not that favourable..

It's better then Internet Explorer.

It doesn't have pop-ups.

It's not made by Microsoft.

Are you happy? XD

I just use it as a back-up browser encase anything would go wrong with Firefox. I haven't used it enough to find any super special features.

Tabs are wonderful. Thanks Firefox! XD
I know IE has tabs too. But Firefox goesn't lag NEARLY as much as IE. Only when I'm running the chat here does it lag. And the chat lags first, then starts to lag the other tabs.

the one thing IE has that i love, and wish that Firefox would have already, is that section that lets you visibly see all the tabs you have open in one page. its soo awesome when doing research.

Not quite.. XD
Most non-IE browsers are like that. It just doesn't stand out to me as an outstanding browser...
From what I've heard, IE > Windows Safari.
I use Firefox as my backup browser (the occasional page doesn't work properly).

I don't really like Safari that much, for relatively baseless reasons. XD I just don't like that the loading bar is a part of the url bar. XD It bothers me. So I just use Firefox. XDD

Picky!

/kidding

I wouldn't know, I can't say I have tried Safari as a browser... I think it loaded up once on my Nintendo Wii, but that didn't really show me anything. It's a pain in the backside getting webpages to work for them all though, they are very picky like Radical Dreamer. :shake:

I have actually switched to Safari.

Safari in Leopard is screaming fast, and has that "make widget" function. Very nice.

However I don't think it would be nearly as good on Windows, as its an OS X browser to begin with, so it doesn't supprise me that Windows users don't like it.
