So what's your favorite dog breed? My folks and I like Pomeranians! (Poms for short.) They're so cute!

I mostly love big dogs, like huskies, malamutes, golden retrievers, German shepherds, maybe great pyrenees, and shar pei are cute too ^^. When it comes to small dogs, however, I like shelties, pomeranians (yeah, they're cute too; one of my friends used to have a little one named Snowball), and beagles.

I like Chows, but they're a bit testy, so they're nice when mixed with something more mellow. You get all the fluffiness and the good-guard-doggieness but a bit more tempered. Hopefully.

I also think Corgis and Newfoundlands are adorable, but the first have a bit too much energy for me and the second are just huuuuge.

Of course, my favorite is the Rottweiler (I own one...this is not her) Image

I also love Dobermans, since they look so much like Rottweilers, and I'd like to own one because I'd have to clean up less hair. Image

Siberian Huskies are beautiful. They remind me of wolves. Image

And while I normally don't like toy dogs, the only toy dog that I'd ever consider owning would be a pug. They look like little aliens. Yay for Milo and Otis! Image

We had to shave him recently, because he was shedding everywhere and wouldn't come out of the garage because he'd get too hot. D: He's happier, but he looks kinda stupid now.

I also love Huskies, American Eskimos, and Shiba Inu. >~< If I have a chance to get my own dog when I'm on my own, I'd be all over an American Eskimo. They're like white, oversized Poms. >.>;

Oh em gee, that is so messed up. XD

As for American Eskimos, my friend used to own one (I think he still does O.o). His name was Buffy. He was small, hyper, adorable, and perverted. XD But he was adorable.

Our dog is a Golden Retriever, a good breed if she's any example of it. :D

I'm more of a cat person myself, but my uncle has an awesome bulldog who's just about the only dog I will go looking for to play with, so I'm putting in a vote for bulldogs.

My LEAST favorite breed of dog, however, is the Rhodesian Ridgeback. Why? Because I has one. He's an idiot. Neat-looking dog, but a complete pain in the butt. And none too bright either. XD

University of Washington Huskies!!!!

Ok...now that the joking is out of the way,it depends on what type of dog we own at the time. The last one we had was a Malamute so right now I am kind of prejudiced in favor of them.

Anything like a german shepherd is probably good. I'm not to fond of small dogs.

My LEAST favorite breed of dog, however, is the Rhodesian Ridgeback. Why? Because I has one. He's an idiot. Neat-looking dog, but a complete pain in the butt. And none too bright either. XD

Sisters last dog (lasted 6 weeks) - Thick as two short planks. Built like a slightly taller, thinner, lab. Lab-type coat, only normally setter red, unless the light completlly fails to hit it just right, when it occasionally looks brownish. Weird looking head, until you look into his big pale yellow weimaraner eyes. Energy like a power plant. Did I mention he was a bit dumb?

Australian Sheperds are definitely my favorite, the runner up would be Golden Retrievers.

I'll admit I'm biased, but I love shorkies. I know it's a mutt breed(shi tzu, yorkie), but of all the dogs I've had, these have been the best behaved. My beagle howled a lot, my German shepard growled, and my maltese isn't fully housebroken(this is common with malteses). My two shorkies are CUUUUTE~! And they're potty-trained really well, they're very friendly, and they're great guard dogs. They bark at the drop of a hat!

so far my favorite breed would have to be *thinks* miniature schnauzer. Just like my little puppy. ^_^
Footprints in the sand by Carolyn Joyce Carty

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the lord.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene he noticed two sets of foot prints in the sand: one belonging to him the other to the lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the foot prints in the sand.

He noticed that name times along the path of his life there was only one set o footprints.

He also noticed that it was at the lowest and saddest times of his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the lord about it:

"lord, you said once i decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But i have noticed during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of foot prints. I dont understand why when i needed you most you would leave me."

The lord replied:

"My son, my precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that i carried you."
