I so want to play that game when it comes out. I've been wanting to play a good Online RPG since I wore myself out on PSO. What's really cool is all the jobs you have available to you. You also have to make sure eat something everynow and then otherwise you get skinny. Eat too much and you'll look like the Pillsbury Dough Boy.

If it fails though the x-box will die in japan. Its from level 5 though so it probaly is first class. I personlly think that level 5 should have stayed with sony all the way.

I agree, thank you Level5 for making me DarkCloud 2.
Finaly, some fun fishing.^^
And please stick with Sony!!! (Unless you want to make a bad game for Xbox....)
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

As much as I hate Microsoft, I'd like to see the XBox do even better than it's done (though we'll see where Sony goes with the next gen Playstation system)...

Looks like there will be a fee for this one, word is about $5/mo on top of your regular charges for Live (which is a yearly one If I recall).

I don't think I'll be playing it though, certainly not for at least a year... As I've said on the XBox Live thread I only have dialup, and I'm thinking at best it'll be 9 months before I get broadband (if then).

All in all the game sounds impressive.. till then I'll keep playing Morrowind.

Really? I found the first one very flawed. Darkcloud2 was like they heard all my complaints and answered them. From weapons to side quests/activities, I didnt have much fun at all with DC1.

I played both. Dark Cloud was Level 5's first big attempt at making a video game, and it felt like it. The first Dark Cloud had potential, but it was weighed down by repetitive gameplay and side quests that felt like unnecessary chores. No attempt was made to make the plot beyond the usual, "a great evil spirit threatens to take over the world." I did not even bother trying to finish it because I got so bored.

However, Dark Cloud 2, which I own and have beaten and am playing again, is a masterpiece. It is gorgeous. The gameplay has improved tremendously and actually has a decent plot and great voice acting. The side quests are a joy to go through. It is the type of game that appeals to people that just love fiddling around with stuff. Building towns, upgrading weapons, building new parts for your battle robot... I can go on and on....

Level 5 is also working on the new Dragon Warrior VIII game and it looks like it uses the same graphical engine of Dark Cloud 2, which is a good thing.

As for True Fantasy Live Online, I do not own an X-Box, but it definitely looks impressive and the graphics engine looks like it is based on the Dark Cloud 2 engine, which is a good thing. I am optimistic about this online RPG considering the development team behind it.

see i like the characters on DC1 better than the characters on DC2
plus i think that DC2 is a little more complicated than DC1. But in all DC2 is the game to get. i love the graphics on DC2^__^'
