Duck Hunt - The game that began the legacy of cheaters everywhere (you know who you are;)) holding the gun right up against the screen.
Earthworm Jim - I got a kick out of the ending for two reasons: 1, because it was so stupid as to somehow actually make it good, and 2, because it answers the question "what the heck was the point of launching that cow way back in level one?" Plus I really like Doug TenNapel's art (read Creature Tech, it's a great GN by TenNapel). And he's a Christian.
Contra - Anyone who's ever picked up an NES controller knows the famous Konami Code by heart now.
Final Fantasy IV - Really, with my name and avatar, did you think I'd just leave this one out?

Phantasy Star IV - One of the best RPGs I've ever played. I This game is the main reason why I miss my Sega Genesis so much. My sister took it with her to college several years ago and probably still has it. I used to sit down and play PSIV in her dorm room any time I went to visit her. Don't think she still has that game, though - she never really liked RPGs.
Twisted Metal 2: World Tour - Best PS1 TM title. Excellent graphics, huge levels, secret areas, and an electric guitar playing a "metal" version of Frere Jaques. How cool is that!?
