Hi everyone! As a first time in college student, I will be beginning my classes later this month. Naturally, I'm a little nervous and concerned about the whole thing, with this being a new experience and all. I am fortunate that the college I plan on attending is close enough for me to commute to everyday from my home, but the worst part is choosing which way to go. I could either drive on the crosstown and service roads, which would take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour to get there because of all the trucks and traffic, or I could take the highway, which results in a quicker trip but is also crowded. I'm concerned about taking the highway, even though it would get me there quicker, because I'm not comfortable with driving on the highway, and I've never done it without one of my parents in the car as well. Besides, I often hear of accidents on the highway, so that makes me want to take the longer (but perhaps safer) route. However, I realize that it might become tedious after a while, thus making me want to just take the quicker way. So please pray for me, and all other students starting college this year, whether or not they face this same problem).
