The pudding thing, I don't remember from the book, but I guess it was in there to make Luna seem more like a space case with floaty thoughts. The Nargles however, Luna DID say were on the mistletoe in the book, but the movie left it out leaving Harry to bring it up, was absolutely POINTLESS to even be in there. It was just like "might be nargles in there" "what are nargles?" "I don't know." Pretty funny if you ask me since it's not even relevant with the first part in there...
