Hiya, CAA people! :)

I guess this is an introductory thread of sorts.. so.. woo!

Hmm, hmm.. well, I was actually a member of CAA a loooong time ago, back when it was not much more than a yahoo group or such, if I recall! :p Probably went by a different name back then, but.. I certainly recognize a name or two! :] I also made this account a while back, but guess I never got around to being all that active... until now! :p

Oh and and.. I am, in fact, a Christian! :wow!: Non-denominational by design, I study on my own, with friends, and often times with a li'l Church out of Arkansas via web stream, forums, and some local TV air time they buy up. Wanna know exactly what I believe - go read the Bible. It's all there. :thumb:

Hmm, I'm also into art & design a bit (working on the July coloring contest right now! ^^) but I don't have all that much up on teh net at the moment, but I hope to get more and more up on my SA site (assuming SA isn't going to be down forever >>) which can be found here: ArtShapedBox.SheezyArt.com

I also play bass in a band, and starting to try my hand singing (what am I thinking :shake: ).. guess I have some potential, but I think I'm far from great at the moment! xD Heh, our band also doesn't have much up online at the moment, but we are short a drummer and either a vocalist or bassist.. depending on which I end up doing, unless I get the hang of doing both at once. :p Anyway, we'll be updating and adding songs to this page as we get stuff around: www.myspace.com/UnEvolved

I guess some of my favorite band/musicians would be.. Blindside, Demon Hunter, Chevelle, Amy Lee/Evanescence, umm.. pretty much anything by Yoko Kanno, and random J-pop/rock and some techno-ish stuff. :)

Umm, and YES! I love anime! xD Heh, I guess the kinda stuff I like is considered by some "girly anime" ..like, lovey dovey romantic-comedy type stuff. :red: BUUT, I like stuff like Bleach and Naruto and Death Note and what have you as well!

Some other anime I like as well, off the top of my head: School Rumble, Fruits Basket, Trigun, Chobits, BECK, His and Her Circumstances, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Love Hina, Full Metal Panic!, Cowboy Bebop, .hack//Everything, Ai Yori Aoshi, Onegai Teacher, Pretear, Tsukuyomi Moon Phase, umm.. and many more I'm forgetting, no doubt. >>

Hehe, anyway.. I guess that's a "quick" description me and my interests. Sorry to all who actually read through all of it hoping to find something interesting. :lol:

Annnnd yes, I must now forever live with consequences of a sticky shift key.. being forever known as ArtShapedBOx instead of ArtShapedBox.. ooh the shaaame! :sniffle: ^__^;

Oh, haha.. I just went there.. err, and I'm logged in. I guess I did make an account a while back, but didn't upload anything.. kinda forgot about it, hehe. :sweat: But yea, I'll just have to start posting art there as well.. might even start liking it better! Hehe, I was kinda "forced" to start using SA a while back by Depth Charge from SA.. she threatened my very health!! :sniffle: :lol:

And, YES! I colored your line art for the July coloring contest! :D It's actually posted now.. was a lot of fun! I could color nice line art like that all day and night. ^_^

XD it wasn't THAT great I noticed an error in the fairy's ear XD but you did a good job!

Hehe, thanks though! Feels good to know the one who did this actual line art liked my coloring attempt, even thanked me, hehe.. and you're welcome! Anytime! :thumb: I really did enjoy coloring it! :)

And woo.. my first friend on DA! :jump: I'll try getting some art up on there in the next few days.. sadly I don't have much of my old stuff anymore.. and some I only have on SA.. oh, which is FINALLY up now.. hehe. ^^]some [/I]stuff, at least.. even if it is old. :p

I think you did a really good job with the line art!

It can take a lot of attention to detail to get every little thing just right.. I almost always find li'l errors in my stuff when I'm looking at it later on. :sweat:

I actually prefer using vector based lines to 'ink' my scanned sketches.. but, yea.. tis a lot of extra work. :p

Haha, yeah... guess my introductory post was a bit long! ^^;

And woo ~ yes! Thanks for a real welcome, DarkElf!! :D Feels much more welcoming than some copy & pasted stuffs. ;)

Ahhh and yea, I do have a myspace! :p I don't use it too often, but it is a nice way to stay in touch with friends 'n such! My favorite Evanescence song is.. I don't have one! I like too many of 'em.. all in different ways. ^^; Hehe, and yes.. I don't know why I like "girly" anime.. just a sucker for romantic/love stuffs.. I can't help it, I'm probably defective 'n such! :D And I do like Naruto, but not so much the English dub.. guess it's that way with a lot of anime, for me. And yes, .hack//everything is soo cool :p I also don't play any of the games.. but I'd like to try 'em out sometime. ;) And yes.. I love Fruits Basket.. again, probably because my brain is broken or something! ^__^
