Now, the best part of this is when Yukari-sensei walks into the room and proceeds to explain why she's late... and it turns out Tomo nailed it.

There are plenty of humorous quotes from Fullmetal Alchemist, especially when someone calls Ed short, but there was one time (I can't remember whether it was in the anime or the manga, though) when someone called Ed short and he said something to the effect of, "WHO ARE YOU CALLING SHORT?! I'LL TEAR YOUR LEGS OFF AND PUT THEM ON YOUR HEAD!!"

Then there's the part in Episode 3...

My favorite from Azumanga, which I'm pretty sure is Tomo. Osaka, Kagura and Tomo have just compared their miserable mid-term scores to Chio-chan's 100:

3rd Season of Sonic X, the entire gang is being guided by these weird onion like aliens on their home planets market place. At one point Chris and Knuckles stop at a stand

Alien guide: We have charms and potions that can cure anything. You can find headache amulets, hiccup remedies, and even spells that fight athletes foot...
(Chris starts poking at a rubber foot model on the table)
Knuckles: Uh, Chris, do you have a problem with athletes foot?
Chris(panics): NO!!!

And, the line that is so obviously not in accordance with the original, Eggman screaming at Amy and saying "GET HIM, KNUCKLES!!"

And about Yukari claiming why she was late.
"THIS IS NOT STUDY HALL! I just can't believe it! I was gonna make a quick stop at the gaming store on my way here and there was this huge line, on a weekday! Probably a bunch of college kids with all sorts of free time. Honestly, and now I'm LATE because of them!!"
