Good news for us cosplay people.

Eichi Shuppan's Cosmode, the leading cosplaying magazine in Japan, opened its Anime Expo 2007 panel by announcing plans to release an American version of the magazine through Broccoli International USA. They hope to release the first issue in October, but plans are still tentative. Broccoli International USA will have more details on its website.

They had that mag in Japan for years. After all, cosplay is a much bigger thing in Japan then it is here.

I know that CUSTOMING,which is the same thing but by a different name,is big in
Sci Fi circles here.In fact I have a friend that does it every year at Dragoncon.

And they'll probably cover all kinds - not just the anime ones. This is actually pretty cool! I'm stoked! This is my last year going to conventions, and I doubt I'll even really do any cosplay at all, but I'd still like to check out the magazine.
