Chibi Vampire

OK, does anyone here have any opinion on the anime/manga known in Japan as Karin and here in America as Chibi Vampire? The basics behind this is a girl who is the middle child of a vampire family, but has a very odd condition. As far as I have gotten in the series, the condition is completely unique. Instead of sucking blood for food like most vampires do, the main character, Karin, instead produces too much blood and so must bite people to inject them with her excess blood. If she doesn't, if she holds her blood in too long, then it forcibly expels itself from her body through her nose. She also has no night vision, the sun doesn't affect her in any way, her sense of smell is perfectly normal (in this, the reason behind the garlic phenominom is not anything mystical, vampires just have extremely sensitive sense of smell), and so forth. Anyone know of it and/or have any comments on it?

Seen it before, extremely fanservicey (how do those things not break their backs?!?!?) But if you can get past that its not to bad of a series.

? Are you sure you're talking about the same Chibi Vampire I am? Because I don't recall any girls who were that well-endowed in the one I saw.

Desperado is probably referring to the anime's ultra-fanservicey opening.(see it on youtube if you're curious...) I honestly have no idea why the opening has so much fanservice.(I really don't need to see Karin nude or a close-up of her chest every five seconds.:eyesroll:) From what I've seen and heard of the anime, the only thing fanservicey about Karin is Karin's large chest.

Wow, is that really all there is? Cuz I tried to watch it once (already knew the opening was totally unlike the series), but then there was one panty shot (you don't see it, but one boy does) and it kinda made me worry. Like...yanno. "Crap, the opening was bad, but I guess the series isn't too far off as they say".

If there really isn't much more, I might go and recheck it myself.

I saw the first 5 minutes... I turned it off. Vampire stuff bores me to tears. Probably still will even with this sort of "anti-vampire lore." Who knows, though...

Actually the fact that Karin can go around in the daytime isn't off from some
popular vampire lore.For example in the short lived series Kindred,The Embraced
they could go out in day time as long as they had enough blood to eat previous.
Also in Dracula he was able to go out in day when he had eaten off enough people.
