Albums you're looking forward to this year

Postby Rachel » Thu Feb 15, 2007 2:11 pm

So this year feels like it's going to be a great year for music and so I wanted to see what albums y'all are most looking forward to.

Here are mine:

Otep-"The Ascension"
In This Moment- "Beautiful Tragedy"

aaand supposedly Nine Inch Nails, Metallica, ACDC, and GnR all have new albums coming out this year. Although I highly doubt that the GnR record will come out this decade.

Also in the spring Garbage is putting out their greatest hits album to be titled "Absolute Garbage" which is going to have some new material on it, and I'm really looking forward to that.

Oh, there are so, so many.

Lesse. Anberlin's new album is out on the 20th, so I'll mention that one first. I'm totally stoked.

Eisley has new music coming out in the spring or the fall, I forget which. Jimmy Eat World has new stuff coming out this summer, Paramore has new stuff coming out, Mae has new stuff coming out...I swear, I can't wait. XD

For right now, I'm excited for The Chariot-Fiance and TDWP's new release but I'm sort of ignorant of other releases.

Hold up. Mae has a new release? Sweet!

How could I forget about MxPx's 8th studio album due this year?

There's a good bit I'm looking forward to. New Bad Religion sometime this summer, new Goldfinger in a similar time frame, new Turbonegro sometime this year as well. Just... '07 got a slow start... nothing recently has really piqued my interest. New Showdown and Anberlin in a few days, though, and I can't wait.

New P86, the new project from Scooter Ward of Cold known as When November Falls. Also the new Metallica. And I will probably grab the new Linkin Park when it comes out. And of course the new one from Smashing Pumpkins.

I had not heard of this. Well, I'm definitely looking forward to that, now. XD

Also, Eisley's new album, "Combinations", comes out August 14th. With Mae's "Singularity" coming out that same month, August seems like a month I'll need to be saving up for. XD
