How many animes are on your to watch list?

Postby Kura Ookami » Mon Jun 18, 2007 1:50 pm

I've just noted down what animes are on my current to watch list and was surprised to find that i've got about 35 animes on my list at the moment. Most of them are short tv series too that i've watched one or two episodes of and just forgot about until i started writing what animes i want to watch. Everyone, how many animes are on your to watch list?
Absence is to love as wind is to a flame. It extinguishes the little, it ignites the great.

Life is a test. It is only a test. Had this been real life you would have have been instructed where to go and what to do.

When i argue with reality I lose.....But only 100% of the time.

Once you've decided on a course of action, only you can finish it. As long as you remember that, there's nothing you can't accomplish.

My personal "To Watch" list usually has titles I've started and wish to finish, whether I've only seen an episode or two or half the series. I have about 9 at the moment, not including series I'm not that interested in continuing or finishing.

And I also have a mental check list of Animes I've heard about that I want to check out in the future.

Let's see:

Sonic X (I'm still on season 3)
Naruto (Just got past the 10th episode a few weeks ago)
And (if I ever gain some time) I might try Get Backers...

But as it is, I barely have time anymore so, I probably wont be finishing any series anytime soon....

Only five... I need to finish Fullmetal Alchemist... get caught up on Naruto... finish The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya... and watch Azumanga Daioh and Ouran High School Host Club.

Of these, Ouran's the only one that I haven't seen yet, but since pretty much everyone I know has watched it... I sort of need to watch it to figure out what they're talking about. XD

Last summer, I was considering getting a netflix-like service for anime, and digging through one site's catalogue, I made a list of 65-70+ titles I'd want to see. And that was only building off their site.

I guess my list is so big because I'm not THAT dedicated a fan; I only watch things I can see for free (i.e. friends, tv, etc.) because college is expensive.

I have read up on Full Moon and it is rather sad sounding when you get to understand what the main gist of the story is about.

Since I was asked via PM where I get some of the titles on my list I might as well share it here as well.Basically from various sources:
Some of those on the list have been on other lists that I have made,so could be considered a core group of titles(i.e.Chrono Crusade,Chobits,Full Metal Panic,
Fushigi Yugi,etc.)
Some have been suggested over time by others
Some I have found while looking up anime galleries
Others I have come across while looking up recommendations for animes that I have already enjoy
