Alright, I have now officially heard all four albums from Haste the Day.
Now, you can call That They May Know You an EP, but I don't.
I believe it to be a full-legnth album that is the same length or longer than Burning Bridges and When Everything Falls. The only thing that put Burning Bridges in the 40-minute range was the 8-Minute-long instrumental at the end.

Now, starting with their first album, That They May Know You:

I really like this album.
I personally think the song "Autumn" oculd pass as a Worship song.
"Many Waters", "The Dry Season", and a less mastered version of "Substance."
I find this to be HTD's strongest release.

Their Second Album, Burning Bridges:


It seemed like a watered down version of their first release. I mean, "Substance" was remastered, but it didn't cut it.
It had "The Closest Thing to Closure" and "American Love" and even a sick track titled "Blue 42", but I prefer their older album.

Their Third Album, When Everything Falls:


I found this release more enjoyable than Burning Bridges with excellent songs such as "Walk On" and "When Everything Falls" and the amazing Goo Goo Dolls cover, "Long Way Down."

Plus, the cover features an attrative female (coughunlikeburningbridgescough).

And their new ablum, Pressure on the Hinges:

I find this to be a strong album, Jimmy Ryan or not.
I appreciate that Stephen Keech doesn't try to imitate Jimmy Ryan like Spencer Chamberlian attempted to copy Dallas Taylor when he first joined Underoath.

It seems kinda like Killswitch Engage.
Solid album, which is why it's under SOLID State.

Seen them live twice so no i don't like them. XD yeah they rule. New album iis not as good as When everything falls away but excellent none the less

Anyway. I adore HTD. I got to see them live with Jimmy, and now with Stephen. I prefer the new lineup much more. Seeing them live a few weeks ago, they were amazing. And the Goo Goo Dolls cover made me happy since I am a fan of them as well.

I thought When Everything Falls was a bad rehash of everything they did on Burning Bridges plus a Goo Goo Dolls cover.

It's actually less heavy than their other releases, but by far more original.

Yeah, the EP is a lot less heavy but more artistically engaging, in my opinion. Almost none of the songs sound the same, which was a problem they had with their albums. It's excellent. Get it if you can.

The more I think of it, it wouldn't be correct to say the album in general is less heavy because I recall two or three songs on that EP being far more heavy than anything else from HTD and two or three other songs being really light.

"Who We Are","Many Waters", and "Autumn" are all songs that SHOULD have been carried to Burning Bridges because the flaws of HTD;s full legnths is that all their songs sound the same for the most part.

To put it simply, I consider their EP a full length album and their best at that.

I'd agree with considering the EP a full length. It feels like one.

I've only heard a very breif portion of one of their songs ((I don't even know which one)) but I liked what I heard. They're definatley a band I intend on looking up sometime in the future.

Once again, I'd go for their self-relased EP.

Their albums progressively get worse.
I don't dislike any of them, but I find that for them, the newer the album, the less good it is.

Burning Bridges and When Everything Falls are really close to tied, but Burning Bridges is a little bit better.
