Individu-wha? (The Ask Tarnish Thread)

Postby Tarnish » Sat May 19, 2007 6:05 pm

Since today is slow, and I'm wondering if I can top my largest thread (two whole posts!), I thought I might as well make one of these "Ask the random question" things~
Besides, with any luck now, hopefully there'll be at least one person who's confused about me.

So gimme all you got! I'm ready for ya...

(Am I remembering incorrectly, or are you working on a webcomic?)

(If so, when will it be readable?)

Yes. Several.

And, you see, that's the problem. Until I can find out what exactly my style is, and what I want to express through a comic, and, well...what I'm any good at, there won't be one.

It was supposed to be up already, but the person who read my scripts and gave me the "thumbs up, thumbs down" review has stopped writing me.

I'm working on a short one right now, and it should be done in a few months. But I'm not sure.

IIRC, your name used to be Orenji. Why the change?

When I stopped watching anime, and got rid of most of my manga, the Japanese name seemed out of place. To me, anyway. I changed it to Tarnish because it's the name of one of my favorite original characters.

You like Bone? ;)

What is your favourite movie at this stage?

You find yourself trapped in a small box floating in the middle of the ocean. What would your first thoughts be?

Yes. Just got the One Volume Edition and TORE through that sucker. XD

Hm...hard to say. Probably Arsenic and Old Lace, but really, a list of movies I loved would go on forever.

"AAAAAAAGH!!"? I'm pretty claustrophobic. The thought of being in any box, anywhere makes me cringe.

I have the single volume edition of Bone, which is thicker than the New York city phone directory. And I love Arsenic and Old Lace. "No, madam, I am not drunk, but you've given me an idea!"

Favourite book at this stage?

Least favourite movie?

Coffee, Tea or Chot Hocolate?

I adore The Screwtape Letters, despite not having read it for a while, now. Gives me an idea...

I have a high tolerance for bad movies. The only one that has actually ever hurt me was Angel's Revenge. I don't know why I found it so painful, but in the end, I felt like I needed to wash that mess off me.

Coffee. Lots, and lots of coffee.

Favorite kind of music?? Uh...I have no clue. But according to iTunes...I listen to soundtracks the most. As in, original scores. (I also like 70's-80's music that is just too embarrassing to write here...)

what are your top 5 animes, mangas, video games, and movies?

Anime

1. Haibane Renmei
2. Spirited Away
3. The Cat Returns
4. Serial Experiments Lain
5. Cowboy Bebop

And yes, I realize how many coolness points I've lost by having popular anime on there.

Manga

1. Death Note
2. Rurouni Kenshin
3. Yotsuba&!
4. Fruits Basket
5. Azumanga Daioh

Video Games (The first three are about tied...)

1. The Longest Journey
2. Psychonauts
3. Sam & Max Season One
4. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
5. Shadow of the Colossus

Movies

1. Arsenic and Old Lace
2. Blazing Saddles
3. Better Off Dead
4. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
5. MirrorMask (Not much of a plot, but a TON of fun to watch)

Might have missed a few...because it doesn't seem right, somehow...
