Oh for Pete's Sake, Why Not?

Postby Radical Dreamer » Wed May 16, 2007 10:02 pm

Uh...shoot. XD I pressed enter too fast and it posted my thread.

The correct title is, "Oh for Pete's Sake, Why Not?" XD

(Steve fixed it. He is my hero)

(Steve edited that part, too. If I had written that, I totally would have added a period after "hero". :P XD)

Anyways.

Basically, I caved, and I'm doing a Q&A thread, too. I'm coming up on my 4,000th post and the anniversary of my second year here at CAA, so yeah, ask away! XD

What is

e^pi - pi = ?

Does the fact that I asked that make me evil?

...I think you asked that because I specifically remember telling you that I hate questions like that. *shakes fist* XDD

Anyways, let's see...I remember last year, when reading "Alice 19th", I could relate pretty closely to what the main character was experiencing, fantasy elements aside and only in the first volume. XD Other than that, though, I got nothin'. XD

Pink text = very fitting. XD Although I did think it would be red. XD Anyways!

One day, I will watch it. This will be when I have the money to buy it, most likely. Or, you know, I'll just rent it or something. XD

Azier the Swordsman wrote:Aside from random battles, what are some things you'd like to see RPGs improve over in the next generation or so?

I think I'd like to see less of the "real time" battles that have been showing up in recent games (Kingdom Hearts, Star Ocean 3, etc.) and more of the ATB system. People will probably want to kill me for that, but I actually have always liked the battle gauge more. XD I liked the way FFXII did it--no separate battle screen, so the game flows more smoothly, but there's still a battle gauge. Cool stuff.

Abortion
Political Correctness
Extreme Environmentalism

There are probably others that I'm forgetting, but that's what came to mind just now. XD

I was sure correct spelling and grammar would be in there somewhere...

Anyways:

When you go to a restaurant/cafe, what's the most likely thing you'll order?

Do you have any stories involving you and being behind wheel of a car?

Do you ever have the urge to correct my British spelling? Or are you only a Grammar Ranger and not a spelling one?

What's your most embarassing moment in the CAA chat?

Aren't you going to answer that last question?

Have you listened to Move To Strike yet, which I recommended to you months ago? :P

What was the original title for this thread?

For the cafe, probably some sort of yummy turkey/lettuce/tomato/cheese sandwich on a croissant. :D As far as a restaurant goes, it varies depending on how much money I can spend. XD

Do you have any stories involving you and being behind wheel of a car?

Yes. Yes I do. I was parking at my school, and instead of hitting the brakes, I hit the acceleration. I went flying over the curb and into the grass, and I flew backwards just as quickly once I realized what I'd done and put the car in reverse. XDD

Do you ever have the urge to correct my British spelling? Or are you only a Grammar Ranger and not a spelling one?

Well, I do consider spelling to be a part of my Grammar Ranger capabilities, but I don't correct British spellings, unless I don't know about them, and once I learn of them, I don't correct them again. XD

What's your most embarassing moment in the CAA chat?

Oh geeze. Where to begin. XD It's probably contained within a quote--a quote that should not be posted on the boards. XD It's always an unfortunate typo or badly timed response that gets me in the end. XD

Aren't you going to answer that last question?

But I did answer it! And that's all the details you'll get on that, unless you want to ask my fellow chatters. But please, please don't. XDD

Have you listened to Move To Strike yet, which I recommended to you months ago? :P

Yeah, I think I did. XD Uh...I think...>_> XD

What was the original title for this thread?

The original title was still "Oh, for Pete's Sake, Why Not?", but since I hit enter too early on accident, it posted the thread while I was typing the title, so it came out as "Oh, for Pete". XDD
