Favorite Band of Seven Member(s)

So they're rerunning the Band of Seven story arch on Inuyasha on AS.
This leads me to wonder what everyone's favorite member(s) of the Band
are.
Personally I like Jakotsu and Benkotsu.
The reason why I like Jakotsu is that he is such an outrageous character.
You have to wonder if Rumiko Takahashi didn't have a good laugh or two when she came up with him.
It seems that mostly he is more interested in flirting with Inuyasha than
fighting him.
And yeah,the guy's obviously gay.
However I think that it makes him a more interesting character than otherwise.

As far as Benkotsu goes,I think he's one of the most likeable villians we have ever seen on Inuyasha.At times it is hard not to root for him when he
fights Inuyasha.Also the guy doesn't trust Naraku all that much.In addition both he and Jakotsu come across as more 3 dimensional than the rest of the band,except for Sukotsu.

Benkotsu has always been my favorite. Jakotsu was just a weird character. lol like you said he was more interested in flirting than fighting. That kind of disturbed me. It honestly took me the longest time to figure out if he was a she or not.

I'm not sure which one is which, but the one that interests me is the one who can't quite pronounce (sp) Inuyasha's name. It sounds like he's putting an "A" in there where it doesn't belong!

Jakotsu was fun to watch grappling with his love for Inuyasha and his desire to disembowel him ^^

But my favorite was Ginkotsu. Simply because he was a FREAKIN' TANK!

I never really liked the Shichinintai arc... it dragged out way too long. That being said, I liked Bankotsu and Suikotsu. Suikotsu was very interesting because of his split personality and I thought he brought a bit of humanity to the group. Bankotsu was just cool...

Coincidentally, I hated Ginkotsu because he was a freakin' tank. XD Funny how people's opinions differ.

What was you favorite Shichinintai episode? Mine was near the beginning when Sesshoumaru killed Mukotsu and saved Kagome. Second favorite was when he faught Jakotsu and Suikotsu to save Rin (it was those two... wasn't it? It's been a long time since I saw the show XD;; )

I liked any episode where either Jakotsu or Benkotsu were fighting Inuyasha.

I actually hoped Suikotsu would become good, but oh well. I was kind of surprised that Kagome was the only one who knew what a split personality was. I mean, I thought that was a problem that had been around for eons. But then, there was a time when the general consensus was that demonic possession caused it.

Jakotsu.Aside from being a villian Jakotsu really wasn't that bad a character.I mean
he was totally loyal to Benkotsu and unselfish to the point he willing gave up the jewel shards he found.Too bad he and Benkotsu were on the wrong side though.

btw:If anyone has seen the episodes in subbed form does Jakotsu have a male or female seiyu in the original?I ask since they use a female VA in the dub.
