Is this a new series or are they re-broadcasting the old ones.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

It is indeed a new series.

It's going to be interesting to see how it compares to the original one.

Reminded me a bit of "Big Guy and Rusty" (which I'm sure is a blatant rip-off of AstroBoy, but still)..... liked it so far, looking forward to it next weekend (so long as I can continue to get the WB in).

Hmm. I haven't really liked what I've seen of it, but I guess that I am prejudiced by the artstyle and the fact that I very strongly dislike the main character in almost every way.

Sorry, that wouldn't be appropriate for these forums... kidding.

No really, I'm completely serious. I would have said it looks like a rather stupid kid's show, but I didn't feel qualified to make a judgement such as that. Also, their villain is rather annoying (by which I mean he isn't cool), though I'll admit I haven't seen how he acts, just how he looks and how he talks.

My freinds...It seems that KidsWB has canceled Astro Boy. It isn't on the schedule anymore. :( WHyyyyyy:sniffle: At least I got all the episodes on tape so far. I'll have that for memory.

Patience, my friend.
It hasn't been cancelled. No network will cancel a show that has only shown several episodes.

From what I've read about the matter, it will come to Toonami on CN in March and then will most likely be aired on Kids WB a little later in the year.

I wasn't that impressed with the show but...

Edited, after I realized I was speaking about the wrong series.

An animated television series about a massive human controlled robot, and a smaller artificial intelligence that goes with him. I've actually seen some of it (it wasn't that good), but not pathetic.

Was an animtated series (not sure which network though). "Big Guy" was a large robot, but controlled by a human (i.e. - US version of a Mech, but more "Iron Giant" style) and Rusty an Astro-boy type artificial life form.

I've seen it a few times (I seem to think it was part of the Fox lineup).. I'm sure you could Google it for more info.
