Scooby Doo Cyber Chasers. I love Scooby Doo!! LOL!
No one knows what goes on inside of your head

And your the same as you've always been (your the same)
If I'd listened, would you have talked to me?

I don't wanna Let You Down,
But I can't even pick up myself.
I only wanted to make you proud,
But I don't think I can do this anymore.

Just saw Bridge to Terebithia last night... I can't fully remember the book too well, but I was kinda surprised how they modernized it (I mean, Leslie all punked-up and whatnot). It was alright, but nothing over the top. Took my guy to see it, and he thought that the commercials made it seem like it was going to play more on the fantasy aspect of it. I expected about as much as they did, but yeah. So um, I guess for those expecting something a bit more fantastic, try not to get your hopes up too much^^ The most you'll see from it is the tip of the ending, which plays out to be quite a nice little scene.

Stranger than Fiction is amazing and is one of my favorite movies of all time... I saw this for like... the third time with Meboeck and Mr. Smartypants last night!!! haha

I really liked Bridge to Terabithia a lot more than I thought I would... everything seemed very realistic in the way that the characters acted and reacted to one another. I haven't read the book, but I think I will now.

Open Range. I'm a huge western nut, and Kevin Costner isn't making me want to grind my teeth like he usually does. I like it!

Microcosmos - a french doc about the world under our feet (bugs, plants, etc). Pretty good if you're interested in that sort of thing, and I was so glad that there was hardly any narrative - no diatribe on evolution or anything, just some really amazing, larger-than-life footage.

I also watched The Virgin Suicides - interesting, very well put together, very well expressed about the adolescent time of life, the emotions and the mindsets, the glory and the pain. I don't know if I enjoyed it as much as I appreciated it, but not a bad movie.

I could have told you that after knowing the title!
*Ryan, go to your room!*

I watched Bill Bailey - Live At The Apollo: Part Troll. It's not a movie as such, but it is movie length. If you like British standup comedy (with a mix of funny music and lyrics as well) give him a go. He played Manny on the British comedy 'Black Books.'
He's a funny man, and very intelligent too.

Here's the link to the first part: (a mild PG-13 for some mild drug references, mild adult references).

Bought me the special ed of Eragon (hey, despite everyone's bashing in the former topic, it practically sold out of the store I work at today at sale price... and yes, I liked it). My guy wanted to rent it, but the cover and shinyness and employee discount just made me go with it^^

I also saw The Animation Show not too long ago. Not exactly a movie, but eh, close enough. Some of them were sooooo boooooring... but some were VERY well done!

I want to watch it badly, but it is checked out entirely at every rental in town and on the waiting list on netflix. Hope it's good and you enjoy it.

Watched The Devil Wears Prada - a very alright movie. Mostly what you would expect from it - entertaining at times, good acting, not a lot of depth.

A customer at work was saying that Blood Diamond was AMAZING. Might have to check into it...

Saw 300 last night. I have a feeling it's going to be the next heavily parodied movie (with all the slow-mo. shots and all). It was... quite an amazing mass-army-historical(ish) movie. VERY violent and sure was alot more nudity than expected.

Saw The Pursuit of Happyness last night. It SO was a sad movie, and was one of the best dramas I've seen in a long time (also makes it sadder being based on a true story). But yeah, great movie^^

I just finished Marie Antoinette. Right now I'm watching one of the extras. Cribs with Louis XVI. HI-larious.

So I found Blood Diamond at Hastings - wow. What a brilliant way to start the weekend. I'm sorry, but yeah, Scorsese is a great director, but this is yet another film that was much better than the Departed (along with Babel and the Queen... I still haven't seen Eastwood's two). Come on. Give him credit when he earned it in movies past. The Departed was entertaining and fun, but didn't have much to say beyond that.

Also watched Best in Show. If you like Christopher Guest, it is my favorite that I've seen of his so far.

Saw only a part of that movie a while ago, but I remember my family saying it... didn't appeal to them. Just found out last night that apparently my boyfriend's aunt was in that movie (she breeds whippets, poodles, and a couple others in real life... if that rings a bell?)

Oh yeah, I also saw that last week. It was alright I s'pose. But really, can't judge it being the best Bond film (it's the second one I've seen the whole way through v_v).

Licened to Kill. Saw it at a friends' house some time back when they had a collection of the older Bond VHSs (so yeah, was a while ago^^ And can't even remember it too well :/) Either than that, only seen snippets of the newer 90's/00's films.

Just watched the live Mushishi movie on Saturday. I must say, since I didn't finish the anime, it made very little sense to me. I sorta got the first half, but the second half was filled with so much talking my poor brain was overwhelmed. It was pretty, had an interesting mood, and I understood about two phrases...yeah...the second half didn't like me...
