Favorite Ninja Turtle

Postby rocklobster » Mon Mar 12, 2007 6:24 pm

To celebrate the revival of the Ninja Turtle franchise with the upcoming movie, let's see who your favorite turtles are. Note: I despised the CG TV series version on Fox, so Venus isn't on the poll.

I'll have to go with Don. Purple + thinker + bo staff = awesome.

TV: Leonardo, 'cause he was the "cool under fire" kind of character.

Cartoon (back in what, the '80s?): Donatello, 'cause he was the true brains of the group.

My favorite Turtle was Donatello. You know, Raiden was right. Purple + thinker + bo staff = awesome.

I quite agree. It always struck me that Donatello was the most complex character of the lot. And he has a bo staff.

Donatello gets my vote. He was the intelligent one of the group.

However, Mikey comes in as a close second for breaking the fourth wall and just being generally fun and entertaining.

I like Michaelanglo the most. He's so funny. After him I like Donatello.

And your the same as you've always been (your the same)
If I'd listened, would you have talked to me?

I don't wanna Let You Down,
But I can't even pick up myself.
I only wanted to make you proud,
But I don't think I can do this anymore.

When did this crowded room get so lonely?
And everyone keeps looking at me.

I'm so tired, I don't wanna feel this way.

I know nothing about them except from playing the original NES game, but I like April. ^_^

Are we talking the old 80s cartoon? Raphael was my favorite, because I just LOVED the sai...
In fact, several times I've thought about buying a set of them, just because I liked them so much. But that all started with Raphael.
As for the movies, Raph was really annoying. And then the new cartoon came out and I had no interest in it.
The new movie could be interesting, I'm not sure what I think yet.
Wait, there was a CG series on Fox? I don't remember that...
In Christ,

Raph for me. If only for this line, which he said when some stoolie wouldn't spill the beans: "Oh you'd better, or else I'm gonna get sarcastic."
Plus, Rob Paulsen (his VA) is a great voice actor.

I don't even know anymore...!

When I was young and watching the old cartoon, Leonardo was my favorite---he was cool, and the leader.

Then when I was a young teenager, becoming all angsty and emo-y, Raphael in the live action movie became my new favorite.

And now, being an adult and reveling in joyous nostalgia? I like Michaelangelo more and more...

*hijacks thread*

If I ever write a fanfic, my new, fifth turtle will be named Caravaggio. Yup, yup.

Where is the Raphael love? I see some but I definitely have to add my vote for him. What can I say? I've always been your stereotypical female with a weakness for the bad boy type

My grandmother actually knit me a sweater with Raph on it when I was seven or eight. Best Sweater EVER.

For the cartoon I was a Donatello fan. But Raphael was definitely my favorite in the live action movie.

Leonardo, because he was the leader, and blue is my favorite color.

But my favorite TMNT of all time characters are Bebop and Rocksteady. Espically in the first season when they were hardcore and used real guns instead of just lasers. Stupid censors!

On a related note, the BEST episode of the old cartoon was when Shredder was hypnotized into thinking he was Michaelangelo.
