Dude, I LAUGH at those Knights. Those retards... wasting their skill points.

Edit: If you are going blade. Invest in your axe techniques too! As Axes are pretty much the weapon of choice after level 75. I'm level 60 with two G.Swords +7s, and I think this will be the last time I use swords. Once I hit 75, I am going to try to invest in two Historic Axes.

As for Knights, I'm not sure. If I recall, people say using a sword as a higher-leveled Knight is the way to go. It really depends if you AoE or not.

AoE Knight: 2-Handed Axe
1 on 1 Knight: 2-Handed Sword

But I'm not sure. Minamo can correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh and a friend of mine says he's going to stop playing, so I may end up acquiring his Knight and Acrobat! If so, depending on the Knight's stats, I may restat him XD

Dude, that would suck to use someone else's character. I would just have him sell all his stuff and give the money to me.

Oh... no offensive skills, huh? It's a little late for that... but I still have my reskill, so I'll use it if I run into trouble. Thanks for the tips.

One more question, what's the name of the rare level 15 sword? I have a Claw of Lawolf+3 but I would rather use the sword, I just can't find it.

Mah, if you're poor, don't bother with the level 15 set. You level to 30 pretty quickly anyway.

Yes, use the reskill/restat atlevel 60.

LOL! Shining Swords are like, 20mil. No joke. You've got a Claw of Lawolf, and that's about half as valuable, so I'd consider yourself lucky. Of course if you don't want it, give it to me!

I laugh at teh Keenwheel Knights too, but it's really what they have to do. The knights who spam Keenwheel use it as their tool for 1v1 fighting because they're AoE.

In terms of 1v1 built knights, it's all a matter of opinion. My choices are bolded.

60
Guardian Big Sword: (305-308), HP+200, Def+30
Guardian Ambidextrous Axe: (300-304), Dex+5, Def+30

75
Historic Big Sword: (321-324), A. Speed+10%, Hit Rate+15%
Historic Ambidextrous Axe: (325-334), A. Speed+10%, Hit Rate+20%

90
Angels Big Sword: (380-382), Dex+10, Critical hit damage+35%
Angels Ambidextrous Axe: (387-395), Str+10, Crit Rate+15%

105
Legendary Golden Big Sword: (392-394), Str+2, A. Speed+18%
Legendary Big Golden Axe: (400-409), HP+18%, Str+6

As you can see, I picked the axe every time. I feel that the bonuses on the axes are better than those of the swords for a dex build. And I'll defend my choices.

G.A. Axe: Really, this is more of a tossup. I chose this because the dex is more useful than the HP, IMO.

H.A. Axe: Higher damage and more hit rate, obvious choice.

A.A. Axe: Even with a bonus 10 dex, you won't crit enough to get much use out of the additional Crit damage, so therefore teh better attack power on teh axe and improved crit rate outweigh the additional dex and crit damage.

L.G.B. Axe: Simply put, by this time, with haste and GT, you should be able to achieve 100% attack speed WITHOUT the bonus, hence making the LGBA better. To be perfectly honest, though, I'd keep the A.A. Axe.

Also, yeah, AoE knights BETTER use axes, or they suck. Earth Divider (Sword) IS stronger than Power Stump (Axe), but Power Stump comes with a bonus ability to stun the monsters you're fighting, thus making it a better choice for AoE.

Hmm, yes you are right. The reason why I said Swords was because it was based off a post on the Flyff boards prior to the 60+ Greens update.

Swords are good in the beginning when your speed isn't capped yet (In terms of Blades) but once you reach the speed cap as a blade, move on to axes folks.

For me, that's going to be level 75, seeing as I already invested in 2 guardian swords (Which I do like, they each give +5 to Stamina and Dexterity, a very nice bonus).

As for the 60 Knight's, I think the sword is the way to go for that, unless the extra 5 to dex does that much. Likewise 200 to HP doesn't do much either, considering that you probably have well over 4-5 thousand.

Actually, for a 1v1 build, you're looking more like 2-3k HP.

Well yeah, seeing as there's more emphasis on STR. I was referring to an AoE build.

I honestly don't know which route I would go if I acquired my friend's Knight...

Probably AoE. I mean, my Blade is Solo, my Psykeeper is going to be solo (Planning to invest in Satanololgy), I figure I should get an AoE build somewhere.

Depending what he put the stat points on though. We'll see.

So I guess Stamina and Strength is the way to go? (Aoe having more stamina than strength, I'm assuming).

I told you, the Shining Sword is the level 15 green, and it's not worth trying to buy. It costs like, 20mil. You've got a Claw of Lawolf, I'd be happy. I wish I had one >.>

Next time it'd probably be a good idea to figure out how to make a guild before killing someone's party =P But I forgive you I s'pose. What are you gonna name the guild?

Bad news Felix...

that scroll you get at level 15 isn't a reskill/restat. It's just a reskill..

You're only level 21, and It's possible to have a Knight with some Dex. Or you can just go Blade I suppose.

Yeah, I noticed that a while ago. Oh well... I may end up going blade if that's the case, or just be a dex night, or just buy a restat if i'm rich at that point.

How'd the guildmaking go?

You guys know the new guild requirements, right? You just pay 3mil and have a party of 3 people. That's all.

Huh... it was better when it was hard to make a guild.

also, each person is only allowed to make one guild per character. This is to prevent CW farming.

(as if level 20 guild wasn't hard enough)

That's not true. We've used the same character to make every guild we've used so far to fight CW... >.>

Just wanted to add (because it makes me happy :D ) that this topic has the highest post count of anything on the first page of GG by a good 100 posts. That's pretty awesome, IMO.

Exactly, used to :3

It changed in V7; they made it so you could only take the guild quest once per character.

Stinks that Aibatt is down from a hardware error. Hopefully it will be back up soon. At least I still have my Mushpoie character to use in the meantime.
