Pink Floyd has to be on top. I seriously was in my crib hearing them thanks to my father. Common Children and Project 86 are my 2 top Christian bands. Also getting honorable mention are Cold, Rammstein, Static X, The Benjamin Gate, Smashing Pumpkins, Rob Zombie, (and I could care less if I am laughed at) Tatu.

I'm absolutely obsessed with The Who at the moment, I've been listening to Great Big Sea and Jars of Clay for about a decade now, I respect The Beatles and Flogging Molly is a hoot. U2's pretty nifty too, but not so much the new stuff.

Hmm...of all time? Billy Joel (the man is legendary, he's got to go at the top of my list XD), Mae, The Early November (they actually used to be my favorite, and though my tastes have changed somewhat, I still like them a lot), Copeland, and Anberlin. There's probably more, but I'll leave it at that for now. XD

I'm with you. Just too many to count, so here's a few:
Goo Goo Dolls, New Found Glory(even though the quality of their music is slowly degrading), Do as Infinity, Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Oh, you think so? I actually thought that Jordan's voice sounded much better, if different, on the new album.

Why is the new New Found Glory CD degraded from their old stuff? It's awesome.

I could never decide on a favorite artist, but there are very few albums I consider perfect, as in, I can listen to them from start to finish without skipping a song. Those two are East West's The Light In Guinevere's Garden and Subseven's Free To Conquer. Amazing, amazing albums that combine the harsh with the gentle, love songs with the harsh ones. So there you have it.

I'd have to say my favorite band right now is Flogging Molly, as well as a small handful of Japanese artists, though really I'm not much of a band/artist person. I tend to enjoy individual songs over an entire body of work, so I have a wide range of taste when it comes to music.

Anything except rap, "Screech" metal, and church hymns (yes, church hymns).

"Screech" metal?
Call me ignorant, but I've never heard that term.
Could you please name a couple bands under that label.

I'm guessing he's like me and isn't big on naming genres. I take "screech" to mean the same thing as "screaming". XD Just a guess, though. XD

I suppose.

If you don't like music with screaming then those who do don't expect you to research it's name.

So "Screeching Music" COULD be in reference to Screamo, Death Metal, Melodic Death Metal, Black Metal, Metalcore, ect. I suppose.

Hence, the strategically places "Quotation marks."

I've heard some good Metal, so no beef there. Just when the vocalists swap actually singing for screeching or screaming. That said, I usually don't like screaming passing for singing under any genre.

THE BEATLES

The lower rankings on my list of favorites are hotly contested by The Monkees, PFR, GO!GO!7188, of Montreal, The Zombies, the pillows, The Apples (in stereo), The Beach Boys, Puffy AmiYumi, The Left Banke, The Flaming Lips, and many more I'm forgetting, but that top spot is undisputed.
