In honor of the new Rocky movie opening Dec 20, I was wondering which one you people like the best. I liked 4 myself.

Even though I haven't seen any of them I vote for the original Rocky because that is the classic that started the entire franchise, and the scene where he's running up the steps is now one of the classics in film history.

I'm not a huge fan of these movies, but I will say that I liked the first one the best. I can't believe they're making another one...e_e Let the franchise stop while it was still teetering between good and cheesy. XD

Rocky I by far. Everything in that movie was and still is classic. Rocky Balboa will just suck so bad...ughh I can barely stand to look at Stallone's face everytime those commercials come home.

Man, it's so close. The first four are all so good. But I love Rocky IV. Drago looks like a transformer compared to Stallone.

My favorite part in Rocky IV was when Drago literally beated Apollo to death and he fell s-l-o-w-l-y to the ring floor (I did that because it was in slow motion). And then Drago delivered one of the most bone-chilling lines ever,
(In best Dolph Lundgren voice) "If he dies...he dies."
ooh. He's going down. Rule no. 1: NEVER do anything to make the hero angry.

I think the reason why they did another Rocky movie was because Stallone said that he didn't like the way the series ended. He said the last movie was poor and not very good and he wanted to give Rocky frachise a good ending.

I heard some a few critics and regulars that the said the new movie is actually rather good and was a great way to end the series.

My curiousity is somewhat peak but I won't watch untilled it out on dvd.

Oh and I think the first one was the best. ^_^
Jhn 1: 1-5 KJ

1) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2) The same was in the beginning with God.
3) All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4) In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5) And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Psalm 115: 105-106 OKJ

105) Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
106) I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgements.

Psalm 91:1-2

1) He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty
2) I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

I personally found that Rocky played his best alongside Bullwinkle.

I went to go see the New Rocky Balboa on opening night. Got free posters and everything. I actually really enjoyed it and I thought it was a satisfactory ending to a great series of movies. It was very well made.

But my favorite would have to be RockII.

No, but I heard it's supposed to be pretty good.

I liked the first one the best.

I was expecting the Rocky Balboa to suck, but i was pleasantly surprised. To those of you who are fans, give it a try, you might be surprised too. :)

Rocky Balboa was AWESOME!!!!

Truly a GREAT and FANTASTIC way to end the franchise.

My favorite one is the last one right now.
