Near silence. It is the first time today that I've actually shut everything off and thought for a while. I am beginning to think that auditorily we are overstimulated as a culture. But it is nice to turn things off and just be quiet for a bit.

It's interesting, cause sometimes it actually bugs me if I have my music on for too long. In fact (also cause I haven't really bought new music in a while) I haven't been in too much of a musicy mood for a bit. I know people that NEED music and noise on to "concentrate" etc, but sometimes I can listen to a bunch of music and think "ok, that's enough for now" and all.
Actually sometimes when I'm reading/typing on CAA/MSN, I can "hear" the text in my head, so sometimes music on too would be a bit much^^
... I'm done typing :/

Music sounds better if you don't listen to it every single waking minute. I prefer reading and writing in silence, but sometimes I need to put some music on to cancel out distractions, like loud conversations nearby.
