Zak and Sara! Gosh! XD Actually, Rockin' the Suburbs is my least favorite of his albums. It's still good, but it's in a lot different of a style then his other albums. Also, I don't recall him having an album named Ben Folds]I just now noticed you have him quoted in your sig... very cool. XD I can see why you would like him so much... he's amazing. I'm really surprized I've never heard of him before.[/QUOTE]Yeah, he is fairly unknown on a large scale, though he does have a huge fan base. Brick still gets some airplay, and a lot of people know of him solely from that, especially anyone over the age of 18. By the way, did you know that we hardcore fans have a name for people introduced to him from Brick? Brickheads XD (and I'm not even joking )Radical Dreamer wrote:I only found out about him last year or the year before, but yeah, he's very good. His talent with the piano is Elton John-esque, and his songs are so fun. XD I think that "Annie Waits" and "Jak and Sara" are two of my favorite songs from his "Rockin' the Suburbs" album. "The Luckiest" is really good too. I do have some more of his albums (Ben Folds and Ben Folds Five) available to listen to, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. XD
Hahahaha! I don't think my dad likes me listening to Ben Folds BECAUSE he uses the f-word. He told me I could only listen to him as long as I didn't start cussing. >.>;;;;SpoonyBard wrote:Oh, and my dad thinks the song Rockin' the Suburbs has the best use of the F-word in a song, ever.
Aw, thats so cool. XDSpoonyBard wrote:I heard whenever they played "Song for the Dumped" at a show, people would throw black T-shirts at them.
