Asking a lot, but...

Have a video game or or VG review? This is the place to to discuss it! We also accept discussions of board games and the like, but SHHH! Don't tell anyone, OK?

Asking a lot, but...

I'm looking for an MMORPG. An MMORPG that is
A.)Free - Why? Because I would rather spend my money on anime and manga and new games for my DS(when I get it, stupid out-of-stock stores!).
B.) Browser-based - My computer is slow. It churns constantly. It's a soft churning most of the time, but you can tell it's a six-person computer. *pats compy sympathetically*
C.) Clean and mom-approved - Well, YOUR mom doesn't need to approve it, it just has to get by my mom. In other words, good supervision from administators, preferably a "shut-up system"(shuts up the person who is buggin you), no same-sex marriage(I've seen it before) and little language and no sexual content woven into the story.
D.) An actual RPG - Not just a fancy chatroom.
F.) FUN!

Anyone who can help me, please do. TT_TT I'm at a loss until my sister gets her own computer and lets me download MMORPGs.

Also, if it is anime-based, the better!

Well, there's AdventureQuest [Flash-based, IIRC], but it's kind of basic. Worth a try, though.

Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

I don't equate Runescape with "fun." o_o

I've actually been trying to find something like this for awhile, but still have had no luck (perhaps I should attempt making one Xp ).

Try DragonFable, my brother likes it quite a bit, and it's free. He says it's better then Adventure Quest, though neither are mmorpgs, just rpgs.

And that's your opinion.

What matters is hers.

I thought RuneScape was fun at first, but it gets old. It's worth a try though, you may like it.

I sort of play DragonFable, and I can attest that it is much better (not to mention faster) than AdventureQuest. "Sort of" is because getting the best things requires the item farming and level grinding common to all MMORPGs, which I find dull. But when they make new quests I play them and I find it enjoyable.

That would be the only recommendation I have. It meets your requirements unless you're picky about the "MM" part. You can fight other people's characters in a PvP arena, but the game itself is fairly independant.

Actually, I prefer the MM part to be absent, now that I think about it. I think I will try Adventure Quest first and then Dragon Fable. Or play them both at the same time.

Runescape doesn't seem to appeal to me, but thanks to whoever suggested it.

Thank you for all your wonderful suggestions!
