I downloaded it and listened to it. I'm very glad I did, for not only was it beautiful; it was exactly what I was looking for at the moment. It was used as part of a RP campaign I am currently running with some friends. It perfectly fit the mood I was going for with the scene. Thank you for uploading it.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."

Hey, no problem. Glad you liked it. :3 That's a song I always listen to when I feel angry or depressed-- it cheers me up every time.

It Is Well is definately one of my favorite hymns of all time. I think it is one of the best worship songs out there.

I am trying and succeeding.

Weird Al truly captured the essence of being a nerd that no one in this cold, hard world seem to understand.

Alright, time to be serious.

Mary Did You Know?

Words by: Mark Lowry
Music by: Buddy Greene

Mary did you know, that your baby boy
Would one day walk on water?
Mary did you know, that your baby boy
Would save our sons and daughters?

Did you know, that your baby boy
Has come to make you new?
This Child that you delivered,
Will soon deliver you!

Mary did you know, that your baby boy
Will give sight to the blind man?
Mary did you know, that your baby boy
Would calm a storm with His hand?

Did you know, that your baby boy
Has walked where angels trod
And when you kiss your little baby,
You've kissed the face of God?
Oh, Mary did you know?
Mary did you know?

The blind will see, the deaf will hear,
The dead will live again,
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak
Praises of the Lamb?

Mary did you know, that your baby boy
Is Lord of all creation?
Mary did you know, that your baby boy
Will one day rule the nations?

Did you know, that your baby boy
Was Heaven's perfect Lamb?
And this sleeping Child you're holding
Is the Great I AM

I'm just going to give into my crazed fangirling tendencies and say it: Baba O'Riley.

I've been obsessed with the song for five years now, I've listened to the original and the live versions upwards of 250 times. The synthesizer bit gives me goosebumps, Roger and Pete's vocals also give me goosebumps, the bass and drums are rich sounding and surprisingly restrained, the guitar is especially amazing in the live versions and the ending is perfect. I love how epic it sounds, the mental images it causes, the way that it turns into a passionate audience singalong at concerts. And I heard it LIVE *squee!*

It also kickstarted my initial awareness of, hatred of and eventual interest/obsession with The Who.

Edit: Oo! Lyrics!

Out here in the fields
I fight for my meals
I get my back into my living
I don't need to fight
To prove I'm right
No I don't need to be forgiven

Don't cry
Don't raise your eye
It's only teenage wasteland

Sally, take my hand
Travel south cross land
Put out the fire
And don't look past my shoulder
The exodus is here
The happy ones are near
Let's get together
Before we get much older

Teenage wasteland
It's only teenage wasteland
Teenage wasteland
Oh, yeah
Teenage wasteland
They're all wasted!

*cue instrumental finale with the violin, or harmonica*

Here's a few more songs that I think have beautiful lyrics.

Kids In The Way - The End

You shut me off,
And turn your back on me.
But I'll be waiting outside when you leave.
All that I can say is what I've said a million times before.
Those words,
Those words will never change.
And I will sing and I will scream but I can't make you hear me.
But I won't stop 'cause there's a chance that you'll start listening.
Do you hear the music play?
Do you see the tears on my face?
The volume is dying,
And like a sweet song everything will end.
You're so caught up in rejecting the truth.
That you don't see the danger around you.
All that I can say is what I've said a million times before.
Those words,
Those words will never change.

Further Seems Forever - Call On The Life

By your hands I can hold.
By your hands I can build this from the ground.
By your thoughts I can feel.
By your thoughts I can deal with all I've found.
CALL ON THE LIFE!
CALL ON THE LIFE!
I'm not living for the past.
No I'm not living for the memories.
There's no use in looking back.
When I know that there's nothing there to see.
Call on the life.
Call on the life.

Slow Coming Day - Don't Walk Away

Way to go this time.
You've done so good for yourself.
And do you realize there's consequences for every single move that you made wrong
and self acceptance comes from forgiveness.
How long will you run from yourself
and keep pretending that everything will just work out like you planned?
Just walk away.
Simply betray everything that's been placed in your heart, deep within your heart.
And you're waking up in the middle of the night, sweatpouring down your face.
And still you wonder why images ring true,
strike like bullets to the flesh.
And shaking with fear you don't know what to do.
You don't know what to do.
How long will you run from yourself
and keep pretending that everything will just work out like you planned?
Just walk away.
Simply betray everything that's been placed within your heart, deep within your heart.
Don't walk away from me.
There's so much more to see.
Don't walk away from me.
There's so much more to see.
Don't tell me I'm wrong this time.
Can't you see I'm stronger than that?

--------------------------------------------------------------
Ok here are a few...I'll be back to post some more soon.
