"All of Christian life is ceaseless worship of God the Father, through the mediatorship of God the Son, by the indwelling power of God the Spirit, doing what God commands in Scripture, not doing what God forbids in Scripture, in culturally contextualized ways, for the furtherance of the Gospel, when both gathered for adoration, and scattered for action, in joyous response to God's glorious grace."
- Mark Driscoll

"Believers do not pray with the view of informing God about things unknown to Him, or of exciting Him to do His duty, or of urging Him as though He were reluctant. On the contrary, they pray in order that they may arouse themselves to seek Him, that they may exercise their faith in meditating on His promises, that they may relieve themselves from their anxieties by pouring them into His bosom; in a word, that they may declare that from Him alone they hope and expect, both for themselves and for others, all good things."

For the first time in about 15 years, I did not get ANY games for Christmas. I did, however, get a $15 GameStop gift card from a friend, so I'll probably use that.

None (I've got too many now, anyways =p ), but I did get a 2000 Point Wii card and can now go online with my Wii. Did so, and got Castlevania IV and Gunstar Heroes on VC (so I guess that might count).

I didn't get any gaming stuff this year, but I will be purchasing both Guitar Hero games [after playing my best friend's copy of GH2 ~ yes, the first song we bought was Trogdor] and at least one guitar [I hear Sam's Club has deals on the GH2 bundle, and I may have to get GH and a second axe separately . . .]

Excellent find, Grub.

To find a new game used for 30$ is a great accomplishment.

Just hope it works. ;)

FF9 was a really good FF. Second to 7,8, and 10 (Tied for best to me) and then comes 6.

Have you played the ninth previously?

Of course it does ~ in fact, it could almost be called a gaming console! My reasons:

1] It is an object designed to facilitate the playing of multiple games and types of games

2] Nintendo made playing cards before they made electronic games. I kid you not.

P.S. I got Guitar Hero and GHII, and they both rock immensely.
