I got a 20 buck gift card to a local music shop. I am thinking about adding some cash to that and getting some Killswitch Engage.

Yeah, I totally forgot about it because it hasn't come in yet, but mom and dad pre-ordered it for me about four or five days ago. So...it counts, even though it's not in my hands yet.

The Switchfoot album came in the mail, and had a free 3 song EP of stuff cut from the album. It's awesome.

I prefer Switchfoot's older sound?

Is 'Oh, Gravity!' like their old stuff?

I don't exactly like Switchfoot, new or old. It has a little to much of a pretty boy pop rock band. At least their christian, though. That is what counts.

The CDs I got were:
Flyleaf's self-titled CD
Audioslave- Revelations
Shinedwon- Us and Them

Well, Kkun, I thought The Beautiful Letdown and Nothing is Sound were okay at best.

Is 'Gravity' like their past two?

You thought The Beautiful Letdown was okay at best? How??? WHY??? That album is brilliant.

Anyway, yeah, it's kind of similar to those two, I guess. They do a lot of weird stuff. It's a lot more all-over-the-place than those two.

It was slow and most of the songs sounded the same.

Since when is slow a bad thing?

Also, none of the songs sounded the same. Fail++, Tom.

As far as Underoath goes, here is my list of Underoath albums, in the order of greatest to list, judged by my humble opinion, just to help you out.

-Cries of the Past
-Act of Depression
-The Changing of Times
-Define the Great Line

Not exactly. They actually surf.

At least their christian, though. That is what counts.

That's merely a bonus to me. They could be satanists and I'd still listen to them.

Well, now I find their music more listenable. :eyeroll:

More power to you. It just depends if their lyrics support Satanism and demonstrate an anti-Christian rage. That I won't listen.

Notice I said listen, not buy.
