Actually, I haven't tried connecting a keyboard to it yet. I would assume that it doesn't work until someone gives me reason to beleive otherwise.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."

I just don't see a point to a browser on a console, sorry.

I can see it for the DS. The Opera browser for DS is freaking sweet and awesome. Portable and handy.

But a console has to be set up at a TV and stuff...and anyone who has a Wii probably already has a computer, so what's the point? It seems frivolous to me, it doesn't really serve a point...and as I have said on the podcast, the fanboys have always been all "All the other companies are trying to make their consoles into a million different things like a toaster and DVD player and movie station but Nintendo is awesome for making JUST a game system!" Then they come out, they've got Opera browsers and weather channels and what have you. It's the thing fanboys were against and they're embracing it JUST because it's Nintendo.

I got no problem with the VC, the Mii channel is fine, but the browser seems like it was added just so it could have a browser...waste of time, really.

I don't see much of a point in it either, really...

Until I realized I could watch Homestar on my TV (of course, that is what DVDs are for Xp ).

I have to agree there. There's a reason why things like Web TV weren't good ideas and that's because it's on your television. I shouldn't have to magnify to read print and I deffinitely shouldn't have to point a remote to type.

On another note my cousin brought his Wii over to my grandparents house but forgot the sensor bar. We used two candles placed close together to make games actually playable. It wasn't bad it deffinetly put out enough infrared to work. It was kind of funny when we got six candles over the television and the hand pointer was all over the place though.

I just find it useful for when I'm being lazy and/or want to watch family guy or something.

There's just something that much cooler about going online and watching family guy episodes on my TV without commercials. >_>
had enough.

Seeing how E3 '06 is long past, the system has launched, and the Christmas season is over, I am going to unsticky this thread. You may continue the talk about the Wii hardware and it's various features here, but feel free to make a thread for the upcoming games (like Metroid, Wario Ware, and Brawl)

Just don't overload the board with Wii threads, please. Otherwise, they will be locked and this thread will be re-stickied. Thank you.
