So, they are going 5+5+4+4 format.

Geez, I sure miss the days of when they had a better format.

Oh well! This is why I wait for box sets now a days.

That doesn't sound too bad. A volume every two weeks at $20 a pop...I could manage that...but that all hinges on how well the show ends for me!

Yeah, I think so. As long as it doesn't go on and on like another anime we all know and...kinda tolerate...

::Glares at Inuyasha::

But back on subject, is it just me, or are there just a bunch of "Kiss-her/him-you-fool!!" moments between Eureka and Renton in these latter episodes??

It's probably hard to fall in love with a girl that isn't human!

BTW, I dislike the new Fix beta very much.

At least the kids are finally starting to be nicer to Renton.

It's quite nice, actually! She looks a lot more professional, but still has that eye-popping appeal! Out of curiosity did she...

Well, in a way, it's kinda like Star Trek: The Next Generation when Troi moved from the bunny suit to the uniform. It shows the progression of the character. Besides, I think Troi actually looked better in the Grey/black uniform then in any other!

Again I ask, how old is Talho anyway???

My guess: Mid 20s.

Could be older since she loves Holland. Holland and Charles were rivals/war buddies so their age should be close.

I guess I like her new outfit, but I don't care much for the Prince Valiant haircut.

Well she might not be too old.It could be either just a crush she has on Holland or it could be one of those May/December things where a younger girl is in love with an older man.Though she does seem to be mature enough to be in a relationship with Holland,at least from the way she acts toward Renton and the others.

Watched it, loved it :) (except a part in the ending at the last episode but it's forgivable).
It develops char really nice without going on one-trait (straight forward) characters or psychedelic ones either.
Plus it's a nice teenage love story (give or take a few elements).

Saturday's episode puts the date of Eureka 7 something like 10,000 years in the future, unless I heard wrong. It's when the voiceover is talking about surfing.

:hits_self :bang: I missed yesterday's episode! I ment to record it, but I was 1/2 asleep and instead of recording channel 33 (Cartoon Network in LA) I wound up recording Channel 34 (CNN in LA!) I was so ticked off at myself!

Could someone tell me (using spoiler bars, of course :thumb: !) what happened???
okay, from what i can remember, the gekko state got to a certain planet that was under attack, but they were to late. i think it was holland's home planet or something like that...anyways, eureka of course was upset about the whole thing, and renton wanted to do something to make her feel better. well holland gave everyone permission to take a break but they had to still be on patrol or something like that. he ecspecially wanted talho to get some rest because she hadn't slept for a while. meanwhile, some of the guys were making repairs on the nearvash (sp?) and renton was stressin' on how worried he was about eureka, well the doctor chick's ex-husband told him to make a memory with her, so he tried to find something to make a memory about. talho came in to help renton out, and suggested they go lifting (or sky surfing whatever) on the same long board that she and holland surfed on when they werer younger. of course in order to do that talho told a lie to jobs sayin' that something was wrong with the ships system. so while that was bein' worked on, everyone else went lifting. at first renton didn't think eureka would be up to goin' lifting but she came around and they had fun. and of cours stoner took some pics. holland and talho were out there too and holland said that it would be his last time to be able to lift....talho thought he probably shouldn't because he was still hurt. but, he was stubborn and tried and again i say tried to lift but he couldn't because he was hurt, and talho told him to stop because she understood what he was going through. holland was pretty upset (i mean this guy was cryin' and everything), but he was very appreciative for talho being understanding. then later on holland called a meeting sayin' they found where norb was, it was someone he was tryin' to find since the beginning. but he was going to disband the gekko state to go find this guy. the next day he found that everyone was at their stations sayin' they weren't goin anywhere, they were going to stay together....and that's pretty much all i can remember, oh and holland also told talho thank you, hap said that was the first time he ever heard him say that (he knew holland since he was three) and that he hopes he gets a thank you before he dies...sorry it was so long
No.I wouldn't bet on it.btw:As I was looking up the VAs for E7 on Wikiepedia I found out that Holland and Talho are only three years apart.Holland is 29 and
Talho is 26.Also the old guy with the mustach is the owner of the Gekkostate.
And finally, yes Gidget and Moondoggie were named for the popular characters in the '50s surfer movies and the '60s tv series(the later of which starred Sally
Field in her pre-Flying Nun days).Except for Renton and Eureka Gidget and
Moondoggie are the youngest(not counting the kids and btw:Wikiepedia said that the kids are a reference to Gundam).
