I need prayers I am going through a tough time right now I have a hentai addiction (anime porn) I have tried over and over to get off of it.So I need your prayers.

I'll pray for everybody that has that kind of problem. A couple of people I've known, a couple of people who have posted in this thread, a couple of people a couple of people in this thread have known. Probably a lot of people some of those people know.

Actually, I'm also praying that I won't have that problem myself. So far I've been pretty well protected, and I'm kindof afraid that when/if I do see some of this horrible stuff people everywhere seem to be getting addicted to, I would also fall into the problem. On the other hand, I think there's a fair chance that my unwillingness to get addicted to porn (stated here) should be a fairly good resistance to it. After all, it would be difficult to crave something you truely hate.

It's an addiction that many men have to go through, (7 of 10 I think) and it can be tough to get out of. But with God's help, anything is possible! Always remember:

To be perfictly honest I am going through the same deal myself. I will definatle pray for all you guys who are in the same boat and I ask that you guys pray for me too. Untill now I havn't had the guts to tell anyone but just seing that i'm not alone really helps.

In responce to the amazment about being adicted to something that you hate and repulses you its like this. Its your flesh (sinfull nature you were born with) and the lies the devil has been feeding you that intreat you in things you know are wrong. The spirit of God inside you that gets repulesed by these things. You can always choose which one to listen to but it is always easyer to go dow hill if you know what I mean.

So keep fighting the good fight. God is not going to give up on you even if you give up on yourself. And I will be praying.

Inferno, Malic, and reliant k, I will pray for you all. I had this problem (addiction really) myself once, and I am not immune to stumbling. I think that until you are more mature in this area, it might be wise to only use the computer when somebody else is in the house. Also, being in a men's prayer meeting or bible study is a good thing too. Some man there has gone through the same thing, I can assure you, and will be more than ready to help and pray for you, not to condemn you.

I go through kinda the same thing (it's real porn and not hentai). I was fortunate enough not to have developed a taste for hentai, but it's still pretty bad since my problem deals with living, breathing people. It's significantly changed the way I look at life now. Thankfully, I'm starting to lose my taste for that too. I've been fighting it for almost 10 years now... ever since my first encounter...

Anyway, enough about me. People who have been where we've been need all the prayer we can get. I will also pray for all of you, but please pray for me too.
