Hey, I have a legality question. Becoming the Archetype used to be The Remnant, and they released one CD, which was self titles. It is no longer in production, and not even ebay or amazon.com have a copy.
So, my question is, would it be illegal to DL it from the internet?
Kazuya wrote:Well, the place that had it took the link down, so I have no clue where to get it now.
To Ichigo: I was REALLY wanting to go to the Hell Freezes Over tour, but I just couldnt find a ride at the time. How was it?

Ichigo_89 wrote:O ya, who here really digs Amon Amarth? (exceptionally good viking death-metal) I know Hitokiri is a fan...
Eric wrote:I like them. You should also check out Unleashed for more Viking-themed death metal.

Eric wrote:Unleashed is no more or less appropriate than Amon Amarth.
Knives wrote:Hmnn, ok, but Amon Amarth is pretty anti-christian aren't they?
Eric wrote:They were when they first started out, but as they kept releasing more cds, they used more Viking-themed lyrics instead. The same thing happened with Unleashed.

Does anybody like Job for a Cowboy? From what I have heard of them, they sound pretty good. I know that a lot of people don't like them, though (I'm not sure why...)

Knives wrote:They sound pretty cool so far.
By the way, that list you put up was helpful. Do you know of any Tech Death Metal bands besides Sympathy, Extol, and Aletheian that are christian?
Eric wrote:You could try:
The Horsemen of the Apocalypse
Tortured Conscience
but they are nowhere near as good as any secular tech death band. That style of music is very sorely lacking in the Christian music scene.
Ichigo_89 wrote:I'm really into In Flames right now. the Come Clarity album is just beautiful. I dig some of the old stuff too from Colony and Clayman. Anyone else?
Knives wrote:Thanks for those links.
Do you know of any fairly clean secular tech death bands that are really good?
