Well, this is pretty dandy! I didn't know there was a Christian Anime Alliance.
SWEET!

My name is Johnathan Godbolt, and.... haha, this is almost like some kind of AAA meeting haha! (Anime-Aholics-Anonymous I mean ofcourse). Anyway, I've been into Anime ever since I saw first saw Yaroiden Samurai Troopers (Ronin Warriors) oh... about 8 years ago. And to this day it is still my favorite anime TV series! .....well, Uresei Yatsura is a very close second, only because the japanese voice actors are so funny and much more enthusiastic than their english counterparts.... IMO anyway.

Ahh... whatelse? I have been drawing anime for about 7 or 6 years now, though I am much more focused on music these days, so I don't draw much. I have a pretty small gallery of old art that I've done on the net:

http://www.geocities.com/seirce/Ages_Lost.html

I hope that link still works... ha, it should.
Ah..... a snarffle too... burgle if a ding aint no mailbox.... I'm not very good at introductions.
Some of my favorite animes are:
Record of Lodoss War
Vampire Hunter D, D:Bloodlust
IRIA
Princess Mononoke
and I can't think of any others.... oh yeah, Appleseed was good too.

Ok, I'ma go now hahaha!

Godbolt...what an interesting name...don't zap me. LOL. That is some amazing art you have there. Some of your sketches with pen just leave me speechless. God has truly given you a gift. If you don't mind me asking, where did you learn to draw anime, and do you have any advice for me, who aspires to draw anime, but really can't draw much of anything? Also, was that colored pencil you used on "Tani 3?"

Hi and welcome! ^_^ Nice art.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.
