The bad poetry of YesIExist!

Temptation :bang:

I have all I need
Love, food, shelter, and air to breathe.
What is it about him
That lures me into wanting to sin?
He would rock my world, make all things unstable
Everything would be brought on the table.
There is no future or hope in him
The ice I consider walking upon is indeed thin.
He makes my head spin
Yet I find myself keep coming back again
I have decided that with him I'll have no part.
Not over his waters without a chart.
I do not need another master over me to reign.
Not with someone whose feelings are feigned.
So again, I keep my distance and move away.
But right after me he comes, leaving sanity at bay.
What can you do
With a person without a clue? :poke:

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Soul-crunching
I'm making no sense today
But with me, that's okay.

Looking at papers that caused
Fears and tears for many years
Wanting to please the instructor
But not knowing how
School papers
So important before
Just might be useless to me now
Not worth much anymore

Thought I'd throw in a few words here today
But I don't know where this is going anyway
So I'll shut up.
